Bruising and Swelling???
Hi lovely ladies!
As most of you know i had my re-op on Monday and today i have come out in bruies on my right side, going from my boob to under my arm. It doesnt hurt but is there anything we can take to relieve it a bit? Also, my right scar is VERY tender! Im assuming its just swollen as i cant see it under the plasters but its really bothering me now as its now the only pain i have. I have tried putting cotton wool pleat under my sports bra to prevent it rubbing but it isnt helping much. Did any of you have very tender scars? What did you do to relieve it and did it ease after a couple of days? ( i didnt have this first time around).
Thanks ladies xx

Re: Bruising and Swelling???
Pineapple juice is meant to be good for brusing and swelling, i know some girls use ice packs on their boobs for swelling but you have to ask your ps first. My incisions stund sometimes too but it will pass hun, if the band is too tight on your bra, get a bigger size to stop the rubbing x
Re: Bruising and Swelling???
Pineapple juice? Ok, please dont laugh but do you mean to put on the swelling or do you drink it???
Im wearing a 36 band, im normally a 34, and its quite loose to be honest, just rubs in that one place x

Lol to drink hun hehe. Hmm not sure then hun maybe look for one with a lower band, i know Z bras have lower ones x
Re: Bruising and Swelling???
lol, i should have guessed you meant to drink it really as i cant see any of us soaking ourselves in pineapple juice! lol
I looked at the Z bras but they are so expensive! Im currently using the £4 Asda ones, apart from the one plac its rubbing, they arent half bad! x
