Bruising ??

I have a big bruise all the way down my left side from my boob down to my hip my right side is fine Bruising ?? 727885

its only 6 days since op all else is ok , has anyone else had this ? x

I didn't, but as long as it's not getting bigger and isn't firm and isn't increasing pain wise you should be ok.

I agree. I didn't have any bruising whatsoever. Like misf1 said, keep an eye out as bruises are at end of day, broken blood vessles. Any pain or it gets worse go see ps. If not, no need to worry. X

Is the bruise raised (with swelling) Arnica 6 is good to take to help the bruising go, you can also get it in a cream version to rub into the bruise x

Its a raised slightly & uncomfortable im going back to see P.S today to see what he thinks !

I had bruising to my side which was raised too, i'm glad you're seeing your surgeon to put your mind at rest, let us know how it goes x

I had bruising to my lefty which didn't come up untill I was 2 weeks post op. My whole boob went blue!! It was really swollen and I had what look like bleeding under the skin at the side of my ribs aswell as underneath my boob. My ps said it was just fluid build up in my old pocket and bruising thank God, but if you are worried definatly contact your ps babe, your mind can think all sorts when you r worried

I saw th P.S today he said its nothing to worry about its just post op bleeding. He said to go back to see him next wk so he can check again,he also gave me antibiotics as a precaution. He also said if I was worried to phone him & he would see me straight away,which I thought was good. Its actually got better since iv seen him prob as he stopped me worrying, thanks for all your replys Bruising ?? Icon_smile

glad to hear your mind has been put to rest, best to have the antibiotics as any bleed internally can lead to infection if it doesn't clear away properly so do take them as prescribed hunni, happy healing x

I had a sall bruise on the top of the right boob but it went after a few weeks. I'm notorious for bruising like a peach so I was shocked that's all the bruising I had!
