Hi ladies, I've got my 2 wk post op check today in Maidstone ...what will happen? I'm presuming my plasters will be taken off? Also can still feel 2 lumps in my left implant. Do I insist on speaking to a surgeon? My surgeon and 2 nurse have said it's the implant , apparently it's normal? And I can only feel it due to the slight swelling/bruising. I was told at this stage in recovery not to worry, it's normal but it does worry me

Hi, Im not sure what to expect from my 2 week post op check up either. I had my dressing taken off at 1 week check up and so im just left with the dermabond on my incisions that will come off in their own time. As for the lumps ive not known this before? could well be normal but ive not heard of it. IF it worrys you then yes, definitely insist on seeing your surgeon x

Had my check up, went really well! Not sure what I was expecting but my scars or perfect! Stitches have gone and they look lovely and clean and sealed. Under strict instruction not to drive until Monday at least. No baths for another 2 wks (my surgeons request) still need to sleep upright until I go back on the 22nd nov. On the 22nd the nurse will decide / discuss what I can do gym wise and generally getting back to normal. But she was strict in me recovering properly, suppose that's a good thing xx

Thanks gsyfem1982 :) also those lumps I can feel are the implant. The nurse was lovely and bought an implant in and explained exactly what I could feel. It was nice to be totally honest with the nurse about my fears and she talked me right through any worry. So far my experience has been good. :)
