Re: October Buddies
I was going to take arnica 1 week before and 1 week post op. Surgeon was fine with it but nurse said just take it after so I am just going to start taking it after ba to be sure. As for vitamins and minerals I was told to stop 2 weeks prior to ba but I dont take them anyway. I think plenty of rest and fluids. I heard pineapple juice after is great but cant remember why :-\ I think just a good diet in itself helps to add a speedy recovery. I could not imagine taking just 4-5 days off work that is ludacris!!!
The hospital I am going to is only 1-2 years old and isnt a big named one. Im going through MyBreast and my surgeon operates here as well as ones in London and Birmingham xx

I'm like you Linda, I'm worried about complications!
I just had a phone call confirming everything from the clinic :)
Could you let me know the name of the group on Fb Sami?

Make sure you come back and let us know how you get on! I'm extremely interested as I'm having the exact same as you unders and 315cc :-) Anyone heard from Kez and how she got on? Also Sam could you please ask Martine to add me to the facebook group? My full name is Donna Blinston xx

Re: October Buddies
Hi :)
I am feeling great, honestly, felt so well. I tired loads of bras on yesterday and think all the moving around left me uncomfortable - other than that I have been ok, been on long walks with the dogs, out for lunch, pretty normal but at a slower pace and someone else held the dogs!
I had my hair washed and cut yesterday so felt loads better, I can lift tops over my head or get dressed as long as I'm careful. Honestly feel fantastic!

Wow that's amazing to say you only had your op 6 days ago! Your a roll model! Hope I follow in your footsteps although I think my recovery is going to be a little longer as I'm having a B/A, Tummy Tuck and Lipo suction all done at the same time :-) xx

Re: October Buddies
Morning, I'm good thank you :) back to work today. I'm a little slow in my movements but otherwise ok.
Biggest issue I have now is I'm fed up of sleeping on my back so been sleeping on my side but the discomfort wakes me up, so didn't sleep well last night. But really can't moan.
Still taking paracetamol. Although only 3x a day ATM.
