First time I saw the scars!
Hi!
I am on day 7 and I had my wounds redressed. It looks really neat!
I am just a bit worried about one tiny bit that was pulled off and is now raw. The nurse told me not to worry as it is just like when a scab comes off but having read horror stories on the web about wounds not healing, I can't help thinking about it
My black bra is in the washing machine so my boobies are in a tank top for one hour. I can't believe how perk they are . I need to order another bra in nude colour now.
Next appointment on Monday on day 10. Hope I heal that bit by then.
Happy healing ladies

Re: First time I saw the scars!
You'll only find horror stories on the Web, people like to talk about the bad rather than the good more often than not. It's really nothing to worry about, as long as you follow your instructions re dressings and washing etc, it should all be fine. I had a bit of scab come away after a few weeks and it bled, but you just got to think of it like any other cut. If they're feeling raw against your bra, you can pad it out with cotton wool pads or breast pads, even a panty liner (sticky side to bra of course!).

Re: First time I saw the scars!
Thanks Charlii!!
I have decided not to shower until Monday as water can soften incisions and this does not help.
Only 3 days to wait.
Your advice helps thanks

I had a very small raw bit for a little while (few days) it was fine, I worried it was a stitch or something....it was fine , healed very well. XX
