Don't feel embarrassed about it, the same would have happened to me! They specialise in 'larger cup' sizes, so don't worry too much. Most of us are here so we can get in there post op! Im sure John Lewis were able to help.

Re: Where should I go to get measured?
John Lewis were lovely and confirmed I'm a 34b, which is what I thought, but wearing the wrong style bra for my shape. Because I'm flat at the top I should get balconette style that are horizontal, currently I only get super padded push up which are plunge line. At least I was right about my size! (Well, according to John Lewis anyway.) Cant wait until I can legitimately go to Bravissimo and not be turned away for a measure for being too small!!!
