do you have to go topless? It's probably a stupid question but I've never been measured in my life !

Don't like the idea of getting my boobs out in a shop actually, but I'll have absolutely no idea where to start with what size I am now so I suppose I really should get measured properly when the time comes (4 more long weeks).

No i just didnt wear a bra or anything heavy like a sweater, they just measure the outside of your boobies. At least in Canada.... wavey

In the UK you don't really get measured anymore....you get fitted into a bra. So you will try on a few to get the perfect fit x

Normally they will ask what size you think you are, give you one to try and then come into the changing room when you have it on to check the fit

They just ask you to take off your top but leave your bra on, then the girl comes in and measures your band size under your boobs and asks what size you're already wearing. She'll tell you whether it's right or wrong and will maybe give you a couple of others to try on and see how they fit. You don't have to get the boobies out... although I did in la senza because she was so interested in my surgery and I offered her a peek. LOL!

Well I've been fitted in Debenhams, M&S, John Lewis and La Senza and have never once been asked to take my bra off.

I went to Rigby & Peller a few weeks back and I had to take everything off! She put the bras on for me, tucked my boobs into them etc. It was the most action I've had for a while Hysterical

When I spoke to my mum and my aunts they said they've always had to take their bras off for fittings, even in M&S!

Just do whatever you're comfortable with hun. I do think you get a better fitting when you're not wearing a bra though as they can see the size and shape. My Rigby & Peller bra fits like a glove!

There's no way I would get my boobs out for a complete stranger, and I didn't really like standing there with just my bra on in bravissimo, but to get a nice bra for my boobies I managed it. They usually leave when you are changing and come back in to check the fit. If someone got a tape measure out I would not let them use it and would leave. I can measure myself and use the calculations to work out my bra size wich says I'm a 38C lol they do not fit, could probably fit 2 people in the bra with me

Wonder if her maj has to get her baps out when she goes lol.

I want to go there might treat myself with a shopping trip when I'm properly ready to buy some more bras.

Mrs M, I went to Debenhams, M&S and La Senza and didn't have to get my boobies out for any of them. They measured the band size while I had my sports bra on in La Senza and Debenhams and didn't measure me at all in M & S I then tried a selsction of bras until I got the perfect fit which wasn't alwasy the same size xx
