25days post op placed partial unders
hi am 25 days post op had nagor hp textured implants placed partial under the muscle.
I am worried about one breast its still very swollen and looking back at photos has not reduced in size.
its under my arm and lot of side boob and is very full on top.
my other breast has dropped and looks so much different my bra is hurting on straps as they are so different in size.
I was looking online and some people say that as they are textured and under the muscle they wont drop much as the implant moulds to the muscle as it textured it wont move.
I was told to wear bra for 4 weeks I didn't have a strap I understand each person has different recovery and breast do drop at different rates.
has anyone had this problem and is it true that textured implants placed under muscle don't drop the same as smooth placed under.

Hi hun, try not to worry too much about the swelling, it will go down. Your boobs have gone through 2 separate operations and one might have suffered more trauma than the other. I am 7 weeks this Friday and only now has my stubborn righty started to settle down. My left one has dropped and fluffed beautifully and my right is playing catch up. It does take time but they get there in the end. I know it is hard not to worry as I have been worrying and stressing over it too over the past few weeks but finally its moving in the right direction.
The UK does not tend to use smooth implants so most of us have textured and they still drop and fluff, and also not many people do totally under the muscle anymore either, so its partially under. The stubborn one will settle down, you need to ignore it for a while and not stress over it, having a BA is all about patience and I know we all want the perfect boobs straight away, it takes time. xx

I know exactly how you feel as I have been worried as my right has been so swollen and high when my left dropped, but I spoke to my nurse on my check up and she assured me that it was totally normal and when she checked the implant etc she said everything is good it just needs time to catch up. Give them a call to check. xx

Hi. ,
I know it's hard not to worry but at 25 days you're just coming up to 4 weeks post op & still got a long way to go healing etc. The breast with more trauma will catch up given time and lots of patience which is the hard bit.
Implants don't drop or go anywhere it's the silicone inside them that moves towards the bottom taking on a more tear drop appearance hence the dropping, whilst there is swelling and the muscle is still needing to relax post op this holds the implant firmly in place so boobs can look different sizes and shapes during the healing process. People heal differently so it is just a waiting game, I was roughly 5 months post op before mine started to soften up and look less stuck on and well over a year I would say before they had fully settled for others it can take less time.
If you are very concerned you could try to see your surgeon even just for reassurance. .XXX

Went to see surgeon Wednesday night he gave me strong antibiotics again this is my 3rd course my breast a little red on top still.
Got another phone call Thursday morning saying surgeon wants me to have scan to see what is going on so going today so worried don't no what will happen if I have fluid build up i am in pain with it I just want it sorting getting scared as I don't want to have my implant out if its an infection inside. its so swollen and very hard no improvement since I had ba 4 weeks ago
both scars have healed and no redness so that's good
