Bra type
What type of bra did the ladies who had an uplift use? I'm thinking that because of the incisions under the breast I might need a certain type of bra, x

Re: Bra type
I'm thinking about getting a macom. Maybe I could get one of those and a shock absorber and see which is best on the day.
I'm actually feeling quite calm about it at the moment, it still feels a long way off. How about you?
I went back for another consultation and the surgeon said he thought the size I had chosen was perfect. I tried it in my bra again and actually it looked ok. I think I'd talked myself into thinking they were smaller than they were, x

Re: Bra type
Yeah I just keep thinking about not having to wear a bra or wearing vest tops. I had my first son was I was seventeen and went from a 34c to a 38ff when breast feeding so I was left with saggy skin and I've never really known what it's like to have nice boobs. I'm fine at the moment but give it 2 weeks and I'll be nervous too!
I'm having 345cc round partials, I looked at 300 but thought they were too small, x

Re: Bra type
Hi again, can I ask what size you are and what you are hoping to be? Im just still struggling with size as know you loose a little volume with uplift, im still struggling id like a large d and not sure if 315 will give me that?

Re: Bra type
Well when I went in I said I wanted a D and that's what he offered. The 300 didn't look big enough to me, the 345 looked better but when I asked if I could go up another size he said it's not worth it as the next size is only 2mm wider and 1mm more projection and that the 345 should get at least a D maybe bigger. It's so hard when you don't know what the result will be. I think as the others have said, if you're not sure go bigger. My surgeon said that the amount you lose in the uplift is hardly noticeable, x

Re: Bra type
Thanks squidgy. I'm still none the wiser :( wen I do rice tho the 380 cc seems too big, wish there was an in between. Also I'm confused how starting with a c we will only end up a d ? I'm thinking id b pretty gutted if I ended up the same size as I look now with a push up bra on, lots of uplift girls iv seen on here seem t hv q big implants in comparison. X

Re: Bra type
Yeah they do all seem to have bigger but my surgeon said he wouldn't recommend too big because there's is more chance of bottoming out. I don't think you'll end up the same size. Maybe if you think the 380 looks too big but take off a bit for what you will lose they might give you an idea? I think it's about half a cup size, x

Re: Bra type
It's getting so close for you now! Have you decided on size yet? Make sure you let me know how you get on. I think the uplift bit is worrying me more than the implant bit so you'll have to tell me how it was, x

Re: Bra type
I think you've made the right decision. Yeah, I'm ok although panicking as I haven't got anything sorted or packed yet. Still need to phone the clinic to find out what type of bra to buy. I know it's only 11 days but it still feels quite far off, x

Re: Bra type
Im having an uplift & BA soon too and am worrying about surgery and also the size.
I am only 5'1, size 6 and a full B cup, I have only chosen 240cc and the surgeon will up the CCs to match what I lose, so what I see with the testers is what I get. Does your surgeon do this?
I am worried this is too small now as everyone seems to have at least over 300cc, but I really want them to look nice & feel natural rather than be big..I still want to wear my own clothes and fit in size 6 clothes as I am a short-**naughty word**!!!
Have you done anything to prep the skin on your boobs for the lift...or taken Arnica tablets or anything?
Thanks x

Re: Bra type
You're teeny tiny lairyfairy, so a small amount of CCs on your tiny frame will go a long, long way!
The smaller in frame you are the further the tiniest amount of CCs will go so I wouldn't compare sweetheart. We're all different and our implant sizes are chosen dependent on our starting breast cup size and our body type.
The other thing is saftey and Mrs Kat is big on saftey babe, so she won't add any more CCs than what's right for your body and that's going to give you as close to what you want with the least amount of risk to complication.
Mrs Kats work is always great hun - you're in very good hands. Don't worry. Xx

Re: Bra type
Thanks Cookie - one minute I am completely sure I have made all of the right decisions and then I start mooching around on the internet and start questioning everything. But you are right, everyone is different and Dr Kat definitely knows what she's doing. I Don't this will be the last of the worrying though
