Sorry- what type of bra do I buy??
Hello ladies.
I'm sorry if i am going over this again (if someone has recently asked), but I have had a quick look at some of the recent bra issue questions and can't find any direct answers to my questions. (Maybe i'm being stupid!!)
I need to know what type of bra do I need for surgery?? THG have of course recommended their post op bra available on their website which is pricey. Is this a glorified sports bra?? This is a front fastening one and yet I have read a post from another member saying she has been told that these ones aren't recommended for post surgery. HELP!!!
What did you guys purchase for during surgery and after? Also how long do you wear this particular bra for?
With six weeks to go my funds are obviously very limited!!
Thank you xxxx

Hi Hun,
I just bought two sports bras from Tesco they were £4 each and I found they did the trick. I originally bought 34DD's but after the op realised with the swelling round my ribs I needed a 36DD for comfort.
Hope this helps!!

Definately a high impact one - you need loads of support! I had one very similar to the macom ones (with a big velcro strap thing over the bra straps, it did up at both the front and back, I really liked it (it was hideous though and a bugger to hide under clothes lol!), but they are a bit pricey, think they're about £30. I'm sure I read someone on here saying not to get a racerback one?! Ebay always has bargains for bras, maybe look there? xoxx
