Burning Feeling Empty Burning Feeling

Post by amy8882 11th July 2009, 6:19 pm

Hello Ladies,

I'm a little worried!!! When ever I lie down I get a burning feeling in by left boob on the outside and sometimes it can really hurt! :( If I lift it a little it goes but if I move my arm it comes back again. Has anyone had the same sort of feeling or should I be concerned?? :pale:

Thank you

Yes I had this ALL the time, especially in one boob - i think it stopped by 2 weeksish post op though. I think it's the nerves knitting together - like a chinese burn. It was horrible!

So I can sympatise, although if it carries on it may be worth mentioning to your ps...

I've experienced this , not from a ba , but from lung surgery and mine was down to inflammation, mine felt like a red hot poker going through my chest, and I couldn't move, but if you do have it in only certain postitions, I cant see it being something to panic about too much, but if any doubts consult your pc or surgeon, better to be reassured really I think x

Burning Feeling Empty Re: Burning Feeling

I get a burning feeling in the inner part of my left boob. It seems to be permanently there and if I press down it feels soreish.

It could be the nerves as well, but I dunno something doesnt feel quite right, even the shape lately seems to have gone back to squareish. Its just frustrating when my PS says its normal but it doesnt feel like it for me.

Hi - I did have that for the first three week or so and I know exactly what you mean but it did wear off after that - think it was the muscle healing and they have been torn so to speak - ? Then after that i got shooting pains for a while and even now once in a while i will have sudden pain but only lasts for seconds and that is rare. All part of the healing process but if you feel that concerned always best to talk to PS isnt it - when is your next check up.

Thank you so much ladies!! :)

Just another random question....did one of your boobs heal quicker than the other? My leftie is taking longer for the swelling to go down and is a little bigger than my more settled right one.

I'm a little embarrassed but had to ask

Thank you cakey_baby! Your right, Never really thought of it that way :) I seemed to think that they would heal in the same amount of time. Silly me! I was just worrying a little that they won't even out. (Still love em though :) )
