The Facebook page!!!

Omg I'm not sure how to feel about this one. Basically the Facebook page for this site, I liked it ages ago, and it had a pic showing the difference between the healing phase and after fluffing at week 2 and week 5. 

I commented on there asking what size implants  the lady in the pic had as her healing stage looks like mine now and I'd like the result she got.

I naturally assumed it was a closed group due to the nature of it being 'boob job support forum' but apparently it's not. My nan emailed me saying she'd seen me comment on that pic come up on her news feed and a couple of my boyfriends mates. These are people I wasn't telling, I wanted it to be private and not gossiped about and i didn't want to upset my nana who wouldn't understand and now they all know. And she's upset I lied to her about why I was off at mums for the week.

I'm so humiliated and annoyed. Why would this not be a closed group? Yes perhaps I should've checked but I'm not even sure how to do that. I know Facebook can be awkward to manage sometimes too so it's probably one of those things. But that doesn't change everyone who's found out.

This was just between my immediate family, my best mates and my bf. now all his mates, brothers, my work colleagues, just everyone can see I've had this done. Been trying to delete the comment but it won't let me. I don't know who has seen it, not everyone would say to my face probs. I know some might say at least it's out now etc but I've had it done small, for a natural result, my personal choice is that this is kept private.

Worry I don't need on day 4 :,( x 

Remove and block the Facebook page and that will stop it ever happening again.

As for others just put up a front and own it. Yes you've had them done. The end.

:) thanks. Yeah that's how I'm going to tackle it. I'm just annoyed that decision was taken out of my hands. 

Nanas got dementia, she's gone nuts about it. She's confused. I'm hoping she'll forget about it shortly!xx

I'm not really ashamed it's just I live in a little town where people love a good gossip. I like to keep people guessing lol x

Even we will, I was filling out a medical form and the asked about medical devices implants etc and I ticked no, till my friend smacked me lol
Oh right IMPLANTS. This will blow over and by owning it, it will go quicker.

His mates are my mates now anyway and they know better than to gossip disrespectfully. They're nice guys. No idea who else saw, will have to just assume everyone did.

Agh just wanted people to know on my terms in my own time.

just had a look its cookie that had wrote a post on here and said it can be seen and on the facebook page I just checked its a community page so all there for us to see that its an open page xx

The Facebook page, and in fact the majority of the  forum, is public, and can be viewed by anyone. They are designed this way so that anyone can stumble across us if they need help and support. This is why we have certain rules, e.g. no naked avi's, because you don't know who is looking. It's made clear enough that these are open to everyone. If you don't want people on your FB seeing this, either lock the posts so they're not public on your timeline, or remove the group.

yeah anyone can come and read this forum too even non members but to comment then you must be a member xx

Hi Jensk I know nothing about Facebook I'm not on it so I can't help on that side of things but what I would say is this will all blow over, people will forget and there will be something else to gossip about it.

I understand that but on this site you can use a pseudonym and it's not advertised to all ur mates when You write on it. 

Like I said it's one of those things but could've been clearer. Still won't let me delete the comment, I've unlinked the group hopefully that'll stop the pic popping up on my family and friends news feeds again.

Going back to work after my little holiday is going to be awkward now!

Completely understand why you now feel awkward, however it'll blow over soon and quickly become old news x
