Right so I'm day 4 now. Yesterday I was really narky all day. Snapped a bit at my boyfriend when he was about 4 minutes late arriving to get me 2.5 hours away from my mums. Lol he spent the journey home laughing at my best attempts to have a go at him for no reason at all, he's one of those people that will not fight back and just laughs at me when I'm in a mood. Eventually it made me giggle.

Feels like the bra is digging in but I think it's just the incisions and the swelling is tight and right into my armpits etc so quite sore. But apart from that I'm ok. Bored, impatient, worried about the result. But a couple of this I wanted to ask u:

1) capsular contracture- best way to avoid it now? Not handling vs lots of rubbing. Ice packs etc? Any tips? I'm nervous

2) snap, crackle, pop - I saw cookies sticky about this being totally normal thing that they don't tell u about recover and it's just air pockets dispersing. But really?? If I lightly press my fingertips on my ( quite swollen) upper pole it crackles away and it's so weird!!!

Thanks for your help xxx

There is no way to avoid cc. There are implants that lower the risk, textured etc, but if you're going to get it, you'll get it. Do not massage the breast, especially this early, unless instructed to by your surgeon. Your implant needs to adhere to the pocket, and massage will disturb this.

So will the popping disturb the healing? Shall I stop pushing where the bubble are crackling? Xx

I've been trying not to touch mine as much as possible just ever so gently lifting my band up where it slips down through the night etc, not heard any noises coming from mine though xx

Yes as tempting as it is, I'd stop playing with the bubble lol.

I think we all worry about cc x
