did I snap something?? Empty did I snap something??

Post by Boodreams 18th April 2013, 9:03 pm

I posted in March Buddies, but now I see cookie online(!), thought I'd re-post.

Earlier I swear I felt an internal stitch literally pop/ snap. I was kind of wiggle-stretching my back to try and twist out the cricks (that I know we all have) as I sat on the edge of my son's bed, Snap is the only description I can give. So here's the question - are the disolvables likely to do that under pressure??? I mean, are they probably at the point that they are almost dissolved and I just made it snap?? I don't feel pain, but I am conscious that it happened and am now paranoid. Anyone else experience this?

I doubt the snap would have been stitches babe, but I'm no medical expert.

I'd be more inclined with you having no pain afterwards to think it was stretching of some scar tissue that's started to form and it popped. Which is fine. This needs to break down anyway.

But if you experience any pain or ache or are overly concerned at all don't hesitate to call your clinic for advise babe. You paid a lot of money for aftercare so do use it if you feel you need to. Xx

I had something similar earlier today, kind of like a ripping feeling but inside, but it did have a shooting pain with it! I was thinkin it's probably normal because it was in my left which has been quite painful, but I didn't think about internal stitches!

Popping and snapping sounds can be quite normal in the early days. I'm sure you'll be fine hun.
