Ok, another one for you postop girlies....
Please share your thoughts, I'd really appreciate it.

I have been massaging my lovelies for about a week now, as my surgeon recommended. I have been masaging the right one harder/more vigourously cause it hasn't dropped as much. Yesterday I was massaging and pressing the implant down when I felt like a snap, like something was "broken" by the implant pushing down! :pale: (If that makes sense). My boyfriend sitting beside me heard it! Shocked It kinda hurt, but the pain went away quite quickly. Although, I am a little bit sore under the right breast still.

What do you think it could have been?

I am gonna try and get an appointment with my surgeon asap, but would like to know if anyone else had something similar or any theories of what it could have been?

The breast/area isn't warm, numb or red or anything.

Thanks girlies!

I think it was the scar tissue around the implant popping/bursting because i've heard of alot of surgeons pressing the implant quite hard to break it, if the breast seems fine thats good just keep an eye on it hun x

I agree could well be the scar tissue. Origionally when i started massaging my scars, I would hear a feint snapping/crunching sound x

I've not heard about this, but it does make sense what Nads said.

How worrying for you, i'm sure it's nothing sinister but will scare you all the same, i hope you are feeling ok now and good luck with getting your check over with the surgeon, let us know what he says, all being well it's just the scar tissue like Nads has described and you'll be right as rain Hug xx
