'Normal'
What's the 'normal' amount of time it takes for your boobs to look 'normal' I swear I can see a massive change in mine already but still seems so early post op! I know they can change for a long time after but they already look so much more settled in .
Also my boobs really ache/hurt in between them I think this is such a weird place for the worst of it to be?!
xx

Re: 'Normal'
I am not sure about time for them to look normal but I had a pain / ache in between mine for about a week and a half, it will settle down and stop hurting. I had no boob pain, just that pain and pain in my arms and sides. Xx

Re: 'Normal'
The mixture of that pain and not being able to cuddle my son properly when he is poorly is getting me down a little I perk up when I have a look at them and know it will be worth it but cant walk around topless all day ha xx

Re: 'Normal'
It is only now at almost 4 weeks can I cuddle my youngest properly and god I have missed it. Lol at being topless all day. I have my photos on my phone and keep looking at them which makes me feel better when my swelling in my right is driving me mad or when my band is doing my head in. Xx

Re: 'Normal'
I'm 6 weeks today!! I lifted my 4 year old out of my bed the other night with no pain/discomfort. But cleaning /rubbing tiles makes me twinge, horrible feeling.
Mine are still high but apparently it can take a few months- a year to get your final result.
I still find hugs scarey incase they push my boobs up as I've not got any give in the skin yet.
It'll get better xxx

Re: 'Normal'
There is no 'normal' amount of time. One girl here to 5wks...others can take anywhere up to a year. Its all dependant on the girl. Don't try and rush back into routine though, as you may end up doing yourself a mischief. Your boy will still be there in 3wks to cuddle!
Pain in the cleavage is totally normal, you've suffered a massive trauma so its going to be sore all over, down your ribs, maybe even stomach muscles. Stay on top of your pain meds, and it'll go down in a week or 2.

Re: 'Normal'
you need to try stay on your back, wakening on your side is pushing the boobs into a non natural position and the aim just now is to get the imlants to "stick" to the pocket then when its done that the dropping happens inside the implant
I couldnt cuddle my youngest or do her daily physio with her for months and it was sole destroying but you will soon be able to cuddle the wee one
the ache in between is normal and can last a hwile xx

Re: 'Normal'
Early post op your boobs need to be supported as much as possible so lying on your side isn't going to give that support, try popping a pillow down that side of your bed for a bit tucking the pillow slightly under you to stop you turning onto your side in your sleep. I wouldn't imagine you have done them any harm but best to try to avoid side sleeping for the meantime . XXX

Re: 'Normal'

Re: 'Normal'
You're not selfish you weren't to know you were going to need two reops! We all go into this thinking it will just be the one op atleast till they need replacing. We are aware of the possibility of needing reops but we all hope/think it won't happen to us xx

Re: 'Normal'
Yes it does and I thoroughly researched beforehand too but I know I would still be a bit devastated if any complications were to occur only natural but it would help xx
