Morning so day after BA and pain is moderate but bad at times when pain killers are due.
My chest feels tight and implants slightly hard!
My righty is more swollen but not hot or red and I feel fine in myself!
Is this all normal just feeling a bit panicky!

Very normal lovely. If you have ice packs these will help greatly through this period. If not then a bag of frozen rice/corn/peas will be perfect to just place over the tops of your boobs (never place the ice packs near your incisions). You'll get so much relief from this.

Having a little walk round the house helps ease the pressure of the swelling also lovely. The sooner you're mobile - the better you'll feel xx

We all understand 'cos we've all on the other side been right there hun!

No matter how much you prepare Pre-op, I doubt there's ever really many who are quite prepared for the feelings and sensations that happen post-op. I've had three ops and was exactly the same every time! Lol.

Hope you feel better after the walk and icepacks hun. Xx

It is very normal hun, as the pain killers wear off their effectiveness is lessened so you may feel a bit sorer when around the time your meds are due.

Sez, ice packs were my lifesaver! for my back and boobs. Like Cookie said walking around really helps. I got up and had a walk around periodically, like every hour, couple of hours. Good for your circulation too!

My PS said for reassurance to remember that each boob is like two different ops, both will heal differently. They each have their own pocket, one might have been tighter etc. My boob that was smaller is actually bigger now! apparently he did a bit more work on it though!

Congrats on your half marathon! Go girl!
