Its factor 5 leiden which is a clotting disorder. But im not at a high risk as it is genetic and only from one side of my family. I think im just panicking because ive been refused once x

I Dont think spire will turn you down hun, there are proper healthcare professionals , i think mya may have refused you because they simply cant be bothered and not really interested in taking the risk with blood disorders and paying out if something went wrong ect xx

Re: ba with a blood disorder.
yeah i have a clotting disoder and as soon as my body gets unwell or I fall pregnant etc, basically any change in the body my blood goes crazy and its like glue, over clotting is said to be better than hard t oclot blood
I have tests done regularly but tbh it can be controlled easily and aslong as you are in good health then they can operate xx

Re: ba with a blood disorder.
You'll be fine with Spire Tasha.
Many of the large commercial clinics just aren't equipped to deal with possible complication not related to a BA and if you have health problems then clinics such as spire and BMI are the very best to deal with them.
So don't worry Tasha, your surgeon may request access to your GP notes just to go through everything and so the anaesthetist too take a look through and possibly change the anaesthetic used used to suit 'your' body type.
Its very common for GPs and surgeons to work together in the run up to your BA and following to ensure you get the best treatment tailored to your body, I had this myself Tasha, not for a blood disorder but for an autoimmune disorder and I was just fine....as you will be too. Xx
