Got a popping sensation and can feel implant
Hi, on my right breast, i was only very gently feeling it, and at the top, i can feel a sort of popping sensation. Also, i was standing in front of the mirror when i felt the same sensation and i actually saw my skin kind of pop. Please tell me this is normal,- i do feel worried.

Very normal in the early days hun, its fluid moving around the implant this will soon absorb away x

You get air trapped within the tissues as well (called surgical emphysema) completely normal and it takes a little while to disperse hence squelches, pops etc. I had 'crunchy' skin very wierd!

Most the time surgical emphysema is considered a bad thing as it could mean a perforation during an op and air escapes into a cavity but in our cases its just the air trapped as they shove (gently Im sure) the implant in the pocket.

Re: Got a popping sensation and can feel implant
Its a weird sensation isn't it. Yesterday i did something silly,- the next door kids started throwing over manky bits of fruit deliberately,- i just saw red and went out into the garden, picked up the pieces and threw them back! :pale: Afterwards, i thought, oh sh*t i really shouldn't have done that. I did get any pain from it, but my right side was a bit poppy afterwards. Felt so stupid, after a week of taking it so easy, i could have ruined my recovery in a matter of second.
Do you think everything will be ok? I'm going to the clinic tomorrow to have my stitches removed, so i will be able to get them checked out there.
