Re: Solid boobs
That's very, very normal, babe! That happened to me too in the first few weeks after my op. At night when I was watching telly I used to feel my boobs with my hands and they felt like bricks. They also used to get very hot and extremely tender too!! Don't worry.. as soon as you start doing normal daily activities every day, your chest muscles will get used to this and will start to increase in strength :) Pretty soon you'll forget you've had a BA and they'll feel like your own :)
I hope you're okay!! LOVE YOUR AVI! XXX

Re: Solid boobs

Re: Solid boobs
Thank you ladies. Still sore this morning too. Hubby has gone back to work today so I'm having to do a bit more than I have been doing. I guess if I take ibuprofen it might help?! Xx

Re: Solid boobs
Have you been given the OK for Ibruprofen? Often you're told not to take it for a while post op because its a blood thinner, and not great while you're still trying to clot.
I would stick with paracetamol for now, and perhaps some ice packs across the top if they're super achy. But the aching/solid feeling is normal and will pass with time.

Re: Solid boobs
mine also get that 'brick' feeling, especially last night after driving for first time since op.
I was given ibuprofen in hosp and told to take with my paracetamol every 4 hrs if needed, been taking it instead of codeine xx

I was also told to take ibuprofen, I'm allergic to codeine so have only taken paracetamol and ibuprofen x
