1 week and right boob solid, advise please
I am going to see the nurse tomorrow to hopefully have my strapping taken off, gradually over the last two days my right boob has become more and more solid. Is this a natural progression as i know they change alot.
After the re-aug my surgeon said that i had capsular contracture in both breasts and that the muscle in my right boob had not been relaxed properly from my first op, so i think she must have done it?
Not sure if this is the reason for this solid feeling and it feels really heavy, has anyone had this?
thanks x

Don't know if it is due to your muscle or not - both of mine still feel heavy and solid after BA on 21st - right side maybe feels a little more solid, I did wonder if this is because my physio has said my pec muscle on the right is not working properly because of my frozen shoulder. Let us know what happens when you see nurse tomorrow - I haven't got any strapping just dressings over scars, so am not seeing PS for another 2 weeks yet.

Re: 1 week and right boob solid, advise please
hi i`m 4 weeks today and my right boob still feels very different from the other, and i had overs. Morning boob still effects this one and not the other . Cookie pointed out that i one way it is two separate op`s and more damage to nerves etc can happen more on one side. Your muscles will naturally be different on each side just like our bicepts which will effect the position of the implant for a while. I`m still learning not to worry because new sensations are happening (actualy i`d say week 2 and 3 as the inital pain had left other feelings ,not nice were happening) but as each day passes i`m thinking about them less which must mean they are not bothering me too much now. Try not to worry i`m sure the nurse will reasure you ( mind you having said that im a fine one to talk i`m always on here for reasurance just soo glad everyones happy to give it. )xxx

Had strapping off today, god how do you get rid of the stickyness!!!!
Nurse said it was to be expected with the solid feeling and not too worry. Scars look ok so not too worried about them.
More swelling and bruising on right side so probably adds to it all. all in all feel alot better after today. x
