Macom or Sports bra
Hey, should I invest in a Macom or will a sports bra be good enough. My clinic only advised me to bring a sports bra but I'm not so sure? X

Re: Macom or Sports bra
It's a matter of preference Hun, some like macoms due to not having a cup size and a back size fits all.
.
M and s zip front, shock absorbers and triumph extreme are the good high impact ones.
You may want one back fast sing one so you can use back extenders for swelling as front fasteni tones Macom and m and a you can't use extenders x

Re: Macom or Sports bra
A decent sports bra will cost around the same. The m+s ones are better value but anything cheaper just won't cut it. If you put 'mybreast' in the macom site you can get 15% off.
It's entirely personal choice. I wish I'd bought a macom sooner, and still sleep in mine.

Re: Macom or Sports bra
I'm having same dilemma Hun
I have a shock absorber sports bra in my intended size (dd!!) but band 36 instead of 34.
I really want to get a m&s zip front sports bra too as I think I will eventually use this a lot.
But lots of people do recommend the Macom
My surgeon has no preference and was quite happy with my shock absorber last night when I had my sizing appointment . Apparently good to have black at first as they get quite stained
Xxx

I've just bought my m&s sports bra today. But have put my macom back on for bed. It's well worth the money and as charlli said you can get 15% off x

Re: Macom or Sports bra
A lot of girls here highly recommend the Macom bras because they don't have specific cup sizes so they're perfect for wearing immediately after your op because obviously you can't predict what size you will be beforehand :)
I haven't got a Macom and never have had because my surgeon told me I was to go braless for 2 weeks after my op.. However, I did buy an M&S post-surgical bra and that was like heaven!! It literally supported me really well and was so comfortable. I also have the Triumph Triaction Extreme and just the Triumph Triaction sports bra and both of those are amazing!!
It's completely up to you, honey.. Why don't you ask your surgeon what he would personally recommend? Do bare in mind that you may suffer from a significant amount of swelling after your op and may go up a few bandsizes so I would suggest buying a bigger bandsize of bra or buying bra extenders.
Good luck, babe, and happy bra shopping!! Wooo xxxx
