Love my Macom-any other sports bra living up to it
Hi,
Im now 4 days postop and feeling better other than my incisions which always hurt when i move. It seems that only the Macom seems to give me any comfort atm.The M&S and Shock Absorber seem feel like their digging into my wounds..Not nice.
Not sure if anyone else feels like they cannot live without their sports bras.I hate taking it off...feel like ive just dropped a 2 tonne weight on my incisions!! Horrible.
Any advice?

If your bras irritate your incisions you can just pop a panty liner or sanitary towel (sticky side against your bra) against your incisions to act as a nice cushion for them.
Early post op your boobs do feel sooooo heavy at first and do feel like they'll drop off without the support, but they're fine. They do however early post-op need support 24/7 so its best not to remove your bra unless your changing it, or after next week if you get the all clear to shower and then the bra must go back on sweetness.
Sore or stinging incisions is very common though babe. Xx

Thanks Cookie.
Ive been using nursing pads but a sanitary towel maybe a tad thicker.
Im taking it off for about 5mins morning and night for a quick wipe down.
Other than that ihaveno pain...(Fingers crossed)

Nursing pads cover your boobs don't they or are you cutting them to use as a cushion?
The panty liner or a sanitary towel would be better because of their shape they'll sit against the incision and cushion it for you hun.
You actually sound like you're doing really well and incredibly lucky not to suffering the dreaded morning boob hun!
Some girls literally do fly through their recovery, I know I did through my first BA and you do sound like you're going to do very well hun. Xx

im wearing the macom and was advised that the round nursing pads will cover my nipples-ithought they might work for the incisions.

Nursing pads are good for when the nerves start mending in your nipples, for some their nipples get very sensitive so the breast pad just helps because they're soft and not abrasive like the material of your bra can be and lessens the sensitivity.
Buddah belly is horrible isn't it lol. Its amazing how much your tummy bloats after surgery. It'll settle though over the next week, sometimes two for some ladies, but I just thanked goodness that it went at all. The only thing I could wear with a Buddah belly was my leggings, I couldn't fit into my jeans if I tried! Lol. X
