Right scar weeping
My surgiob cleaned the area and put tape on my
Scars at my 2 weeks post op appointment he said all is healing well.
After a couple of showers I took his tape off and replaced it with more surgical tape, in the process a tiny scab came off my right scar it's now weeping a little (clear/slight yellow) however it's not thick and doesn't smell
Any advice? X

Leave it be. If its clear and fine, then its just natural healing fluids. Did the surgeon say to replace the tape? If so keep doing what you're doing, keep it nice and clean and dry. After a shower, blowdry your scars on cool heat to ensure theyre properly dry, to avoid infection. But all sounds fine to me.

I have to say that when I had a csection I had two different types of infections and it didn't smell and wasn't a funny colour discharge either but if it looks like it's healing well then I am sure all is fine just keep an eye on it x

yeah def keep a wee eye on it, when you get out the shower like Charlii says use a hairdryer to dry the scars right through xx

Re: Right scar weeping
I had a similar experience to you, babe.. My surgeon told me to replace my tape everyday after my shower.. At the time my incisions weren't 100% healed so I couldn't understand why he wanted me to keep taking the tape off.. Anyway, I pulled a couple of little scabs off my incisions in the process of changing my tape but they eventually just healed up and now they're perfectly tiny scars. Just keep an eye on it and try not to aggravate it.. Make sure it's completely dry before you apply tape and make sure it's completely covered :):)
If it starts to become painful or starts looking infected then definitely contact your surgeon :):)
Good luck and take care, honey xxxxxxx
