Sizing appointment, the actual effect...
When you try on implants under your clothes for sizing how accurate is the final effect after ba to the look you got at the sizing appointment?
Curious....
My surgeon 'doesn't do bras' when sizing just gets you to wear a tight white t shirt and pulls it tight at the back with the different implants in place.
I need to get a tight t shirt for my final sizing as the last one wasn't tight enough, any ideas where to get one? Or am I better off just buying a kids one. Xx

I'd either buy a kids one or just a top a couple size smaller so it'll be super tight! Xx

I agree with Boney! Get a kids' vest top or t-shirt from Asda or Primark :) Primark do very tight vest tops in a size 6 so you could get that?
Good luck for your final sizing!! It's exciting trying them on isn't it? haha :)
Good luck xxxxx

Re: Sizing appointment, the actual effect...
That sounds bizarre! I was given a bra to put on by the PCC to try them on with. But sure, try a kiddies top!
I was looking at my 'trying on' pics the other day, and didn't realise how big they did look then! Id say they were almost true to fit, maybe looked a tad bigger. But its definitely a good indication. (I'll post them up when Im on my other machine some time soon)

Re: Sizing appointment, the actual effect...
Ive never heard that before trying them with a t-shirt instead of a bra but every surgeon is different! I found sizing the hardest part of the pre BA process, I would say it was pretty accurate compared to what I ended up with. You just have to trust your surgeon and go with what you are happiest with together. Good luck, I hope the next appointment goes ok!

I was agonising over size and profile for months and months..
In the end I have just trusted my PS. They have done so many BAs so they can assess what implant you need to get the look you want?
Good luck hun

Re: Sizing appointment, the actual effect...
I tried on 310 and 335 at my sizing but my surgeon ended up going smaller to 280 and 295. To be honest it's kind of the size I had hoped they would be in my head from my original ccs! Xx

It's amazing how just a little bit more makes a lot of difference and the profiles are so different too! I'm tempted to go for the biggest one that suits me without looking ridic but I will go with what the main man says I think, all of his befores and afters are amazing so I can trust him :) x

Re: Sizing appointment, the actual effect...
I tried on the bra with prosthetics and looked huge yet when they gave me a clingy vest to put on they didn't seem so massive . I just took guidance from the surgeon , he had a lot more experience than I did

Re: Sizing appointment, the actual effect...
Hi babe
I've got my sizing tomorrow which I'm doing in my dd sports bra!!! Just slip the implants in!!!
Have you tried the rice bags? Cut off feet on a old pair of tights , weigh the rice (say 270g for 270cc) and put in!!!
It's v funny - I was testing mine last night as I'm still unsure what size to go.
My surgeon thinks 260 up to 280, but I want to know that this is big enough.
Like you I'm quite small so my surgeon has warned me off going too big.
I'm already a c cup but as I'm having a lift I'm finding it hard to think what the final outcome is going to be!!
Not long to go now xxxxx

All good advice already given, just wanted to add that H&M do good stretchy vest tops size XSmall.
Looking forward to seeing your progress as think next op I will be looking at a small lift or conical implants and your surgeon seems to be the top man at conicals! XXX

Thanks Mirren, I can't wait I am getting more excited every day, the more I look at his before and after conical pics the more I adore the shape and natural lift that they give :) x

Re: Sizing appointment, the actual effect...
My sizing is tomorrow night.
I don't know what size to go for / my surgeon says max 280 as otherwise I may end up too big!!!!
So do you do your sizing in just a top?
Get an extra tight vest top?
Xx

Yeah literally he places the implants and pulls the top tight, he says he does it like that because anyone can look good in a bra which is true I suppose. Good luck for tonight his exciting! X
