able to feel implant
hi
Me again! im almost 6 months post-op and am able to feel the corner of my implant in one of my breasts, i also get shooting pains in the same breast. When I saw my surgeon before I was discharged he told me one implant was more prominent than the other becaise there was more tissue in one breast compared to the other. Im worried that I can feel the implant, is this normal??

Re: able to feel implant
Hi, babe!! I'm sorry to hear you're really worried and have shooting pains. I think at 6 months post-op you shouldn't really be experiencing many shooting pains (i could be completely wrong though) so maybe you should contact your surgeon again and tell him your concerns! I think it's normal to be able to feel your implant as i can feel mine through my lack of already existing breast tissue.
Contact your surgeon, babe, that's what he's there for :)
I really hope you're okay!! Good luck and take care xxxx

Re: able to feel implant
I have only had implants for few weeks and too afraid to touch them properly yet but I have read from other girls comments that it's quite common to feel the edge of implant or even ripples if there is little breast tissue.
As long as you can't see it- there's nothing to worry about.
Shooting pains are also common- it's the nerves healing. I was told you can feel that for up to 2 years.
If you notice any other changes- heat/swelling/ hardening/dyfigurement then you can always make an appointment with Mr. Meleagros to get it checked xx
