how long to wait for revision?
Hi girlies! I'm just wondering how long everyone waited for their revision and what process you went through?
Apparently I've had some forms sent off or something and now I wait for a reply then they can give me a date not exactly sure if this is an appeal that has been sent off or what!
I'm with MYA if anyone has any clue about what the process is haha!

Re: how long to wait for revision?
Hiya,
Hopefully someone with knowledge about MYA and re ops with them will be along soon to advise you. .
In the meantime I know of 2 members who have been through the process with them you could maybe PM them and ask for advice, they haven't been on here for a while but think they would maybe be happy to help.
If you click the Members list at the top of the page, the 2 ladies were cazzyxo & littlewellies.
Hope you hear something soon. XXX

From what Ive read on there, you have to keep on top of them, as youre not a 'priority patient', i.e bringing in new money. Sorry, that sounds awful, but its often true. Keep calling them to get things moving.

Re: how long to wait for revision?
My revision took a few months , however mine was with a bapas registered surgeon in a small Independant practice.
I have no iforst hand experience though with a big commercial clinic. Which does do things totally diffrently .
So sorry to read wht you're going through and I hope things come good for you in the end Hun. X
Please keep on at them and make your voice heard Hun. X

Re: how long to wait for revision?
from the date that my suegeon decided we had tried everything, compression band and massaging and nothing was helping I waited a matter of weeks to get a date but I couldnt take it and asked for Dec and then it was all set in plan
sometimes in clinics they need to go to the board to see if they feel the reop should go ahead
keep us updated xx

I remember that my PS said that if I don't like my lobbies and want to smaller, then he'd exchange after 3 months. That kin does nit stretch too much. I went privately so got the best care.

yes I think that is exactly what's happening! I sent Julie an email with some questions about pocket revision but still no reply after a few days. I may call up some time this week but it makes me feel sick even thinking of the place!
