feeling :(
Had 260cc overs a week and a half ago, swelling has gone down now. I wanted at least a d but was measured at a c yesterday :( absolutely gutted. Also right looks noticeably higher and smaller. I no they won't fluff like unders so I no ill either just stay the same or get smaller....Gutted. Back to the padded bras when I'm out of the sports bras x

Re: feeling :(
Big hugs hun. They definitely will not get any smaller- they can only become fuller when they drop.
Where did you get measured hun?
Also it's too early to get measured for regular bras yet. Did they measure you for a sports bra? I was in John Lewis today getting a sports bra and they helped me to find the right size.
Chin up hun- it's still early days xx

Re: feeling :(
Babe, as Kdee says they will drop and they will take more shape!! Trust me, they'll get more shapely and bigger! Even overs still have to drop and when they drop they'll fill the bras out more! You also have to remember that you may measure a C in one bra but bigger in another!
I wear padded bras honey! I think all post-op girls wear padded bras because if we don't then we won't look much bigger than what we looked like pre-op!
Try not to worry.. You have a million and one changes to go through yet! Trust me, you'll feel much differently in another fortnight! Take care, babe xxxx

Re: feeling :(
I probably need a good shake and a slap coz I no there so much better than before but just not what I expected I guess. Just for a sports bra as the ones I had at first are huge now :(
My left has dropped into a really nice position but just isn't very big..The right is being held up still.
Just feeling all emotional. Hope they get bigger xx

Re: feeling :(
Babe if i could shake you i would haha! I felt exactly the same and still do sometimes! Your boobs will look so flat in a sportsbra! That's what they're for.. To hold your boobs in place and stop them from rolling free! As soon as you get into padded bras you'll feel differently!!
Chin up, your boobs will be beautiful!! Xxxxx

Re: feeling :(
Chin up hun. I had boobie blues only few days ago because they look small in macom and in sports bras. And yes every bra make is different in size though too- hence we need to try them on. I reckon you will get your D if not DD once they drop and fluff in normal bras in 4 weeks down the line easily
Big hugs to you laurenlola
Do you have a picture trail?

Re: feeling :(
You will fluff, babe!! Stop worrying, they'll change so much over the next few weeks! You're probably still swollen around the back a bit so they may actually appear smaller. When all your fluid retention completely goes and your boobs start dropping you'll love them!
There's a famous saying about BAs..
HATE THEM AT 6 DAYS, LIKE THEM AT 6 WEEKS, LOVE THEM AT 6 MONTHS!!
Believe in that saying, babe :) x x x x x

Re: feeling :(
hi hun,
sounds like a bit of the boobie blues to me, but you WILL get through this.
what's your back size and your stats hun?
and where did you get measured? any measurement you get so early post op will NOT be accurate hun as your boobs still have a lot of dropping to do. so in effect they won't sit in cups properly yet, and a measurement won't be correct.
once they're healed and dropped more, around 8-12 weeks, you can start slowly experimenting with different bras, and then you will see a huge difference!
we all feel small looking at ourselves in sportsbras, but i promise it will get better, and we all up loving them afterwards :)
i think it's also a little bit a case of getting used to them and our new size quite quickly. whereas pre op when we were trying them on, we might have thought woah i've never had anything like that before.
but we always see ourselves in a way too critical light.. others don't see it that way.
like the others have also suggested, definitely keep taking pictures, even if it's only for yourself, as it really helps to see all the differences afterwards!
big hugs hun, hope you feel better soon xxx

Re: feeling :(
It was weird how I got measured.
Was with my mum and finances mum looking at/getting fitted for my wedding dress. She whipped out the measuring tape and announced I was a c. Ran to a bra shop that afternoon as I was slightly gutted and some snobby stuck up woman said c.
I think it got to me a bit as I was having the best day ever trying on dresses and stuff and then got told that.
I don't think I was prepared for how emotional everything was going to be. I no I'm probably being silly x

Re: feeling :(
I don't think she measured you properly babe. Remember most people still use the old way of measuring by adding number on. Try to have a little measure yourself just to see what your own measurements come out as. Hopefully the link below works. It was made by misf1 from this site. xx
