Feeling a little down.
Had my phone interview today for another job which I was really hoping to get. This job is also starting in September which means that if I get it then I can gets my boobs done a month earlier as I am only having them done in September because I wouldn't be able to get the time off sooner with my current job.
I feel that the phone interview could have gone better and just sobbed when it ended because it means I have to remain at my current job which I despise, that I have to wait 3 more months until I can get my boobs done and I know I'll be miserable until I can find another job which is proving to be a challenge.
Not sure why I've posted this to be honest, I guess I just need to let it out, tried talking to my bf about it but I just end up talking all negative and get emotional so at least here I cant let my emotions show too much.
Sorry about the depressive moan. x

Aww I'm so sorry you felt like it didn't go well, you never know though ... It might have gone better than you thought. I know how much you really wanted that though from another post.
In march this year I went for a job I really REALLY wanted. I didn't get it either and I just cried too... I felt so so upset and like I had no idea what I was going to do next. It does get better though because it gives you the strength to try again and do better next time. Sometimes it's easier to get advice on here I think then from family's and friends because we're unbiased and you get lots of support from different perspectives.
I'm so so sorry though, it's a horrible feeling but everything happens for a reason hun and something else will appear I'm sure. About your BA, remember your still having them done, it will only be a few weeks different... And anyways you can't leave me... Your my only September buddy lol!!!
Hope you feel better though... Sending hugs to you xxx

Re: Feeling a little down.
Fate has a funny way of always making things right for us in the end hun, so whether you have your new boobs for September, or if you're fortunate enough to have them done before, it'll be the right time for YOU hun.
And don't worry about the call lovely, sometimes we can beat ourselves up for something that actually went far better than we may have thought, so put it out of your head now Yolanda. What will be will be hun and you never know... This job just might have your name written all over it xx

Re: Feeling a little down.
Honestly the time between now and september will fly by hun and you'll have your new boobies before you know it, it's hard when you see so many people having their op on here but that day will come for you very quickly.
As for the interview, I think phone interviews are one of the hardest interviews to do, you can't see faces or see reactions, so although you may feel it didn't go too great, you never know. Plus there are always more opportunities out there, the next interview might be your dream job and you'd never have even looked and found it if you'd got this one. Good things will be just around the corner for you.

Re: Feeling a little down.
So, I did not get the job unfortunately but never mind, it wasn't meant to be I guess.
I intend to keep on looking and hope that I can start my new job with new boobies so have a rough time frame.
Thanks for all the support. x

Re: Feeling a little down.
They sure do Yolanda, its something I VERY much believe in hun.
Whenever things don't go to plan, its always because we've something much better waiting for us around the corner. We just have to find out which corner that is....,xxx

Re: Feeling a little down.
Hi Yolanda, sorry you didnt get the job :(
Like i said before, when i didn't get a job that i wanted desperatly i moped around for at least two days, felt awful. But it does get better because you just pick yourself up.
I also agree with things happening for a reason so keep positve and look forward to the future :) xx
