Thanks Lucia, I am proud, from what ive seen so far.. although cant wait for the swelling to go down so I can get a better idea :) xx
Thanks again tigertonix :) my mum had a good nose at them when I took my macom off to rub some cream on and she thinks they are HUGGGE! hehe looking down on them they don't look that big at all, so I keep having to look at my pics to see that they are actually quite big hehe xx
Thanks lily, can't wait to hear how you get on :D xx
Hey Tink, yeah they look really bad, I was actually shocked when I first saw them cause they look really nasty.. they actually aren't bothering me at all though. The bottom of my ribs though are killing me and have slight red bruising there, no idea why because it's no where near my boobies but OUCH!!!

You've all been great! thanks so much girls for the support and wonderful comments and PM's you've given me...
Love to you all :) xxxx

Looking down at them always makes us a little depressed haha. Mine look like nothing when I look down but then if I look at them in the mirror they look like a different pair!! The camera never lies so if you feel like they look small just take a picture and I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised haha :) xxxxx

Haha yeah I'm looking at my photos instead tigertonix :)
I'm a little bit paranoid about going to sleep. Do I sleep upright or just on my back or is it whatever is comfy?
What's the chances of something being wrong once your discharged?
I haven't actually slept except one or two mins of dosing off in the hospital.
Sleepy silliness I think haha

Hey Ambz, they look really bad don't they, I actually got a shock when I first saw them myself.. they don't actually hurt at all... I accidently poked them when taking my macom off for the first time.. they are hard and cant feel anything lol, he stitched them up and then put a special glue on top of them which is waterproof..
I cant wait for the swelling to go down so I can see their actual size :) as for dropping and fluffing eeek! exciting :D xx

Wow they look fab already hun! The size suits you perfectly! I saw my scars for the first time last week as i've had to have a special type of dressing on and changed each week as my incisions have been naughty and leaking a little! And they scared me! Haha xxx

Hey Lucia, after ages I managed to sleep, I was getting all paranoid about my twinges haha!
Woke up feeling quite sore but after some pain killers felt a bit better, still up and slightly mobile but taking it easy...
My mum had the drs today and was told she has a raging chest infection and she should be in hospital... (she has lung disease) so im feeling really guilty and crappy emotionally because she's looking after me instead of herself :/
Blah! nothing is ever easy haha! xx

Glad you managed to finally get some sleep.  What pain killers are you taking?

bless your mum, have they given her anything for her chest infection?  She is doing what any mum would do, by putting her child first before herself. I know I would do the same.  Hope she will be ok hun. xx

I'm taking 3 ibrprfn 3 times a day and codeine/paracetamol 30/500 x 2 every 4 hours or so.. I am also allowed some tramadol when im in pain as I am used to taking codeine with having back problems.. Also taking arnica 4 times a day to help with bruising..

They have put her on another high dose of steroids (which she is sooo unhappy about as she just came off them a few months back and managed to lose the weight they make u gain)
I just feel terrible like it's my fault you know... she's on her 3rd course of antibiotcs aswell now...
Just typical that this happens the next day of being home... I want to help but she's telling me no, but then she's struggling herself... uff.. xx

Hopefully the pain killers will sort the pain out.  I do need to get some arnica in ready for April.  I cant take co-codamol as a combined tablet as it makes me too sleepy so I have to take separate Codine and paracetamol and then it doesn't mess with my head and knock me out.

Don't beat yourself up about your mum, you were not to know that she would get poorly.  Hopefully the antibiotics and the steroids will clear the infection up soon.

Thanks for the reassurance hun, I guess I worry about her and mother her a bit when she's not well as well so we're both trying to look after each other but both unable to do much... I'm sure we can work it out between us though, and she is a lot stronger mentally than me so she will just get on with it all anyways :)

My painkillers defo help, but first thing this morning was what I found out was morning boob  hehe! your painkillers have ran out over the course of the night and ouchies!
I'm so used to co-codamol, dyhrdacodiene/whatever ones they use... they don't make me sleepy anymore, if I stop taking them for a few weeks though they make amazing sleeping pills haha!

I would defo recommend arnica Lucia, I've used it previously and it works wonders with me, some people say it does nothing but I found that already it has helped with some bruising. I'd also recommend the little tubes of witch hazel.. its great... my boobs got itchy last night and were quite swollen and sore, so I rubbed some on and the itching disappeared and they felt so much more comfy after a few mins...
not long now Lucia, it'll be here before you know it :D xx

She is your mum and you will worry about her just like she will always worry about you. You and your mum seem to have a wonderful relationship and having each other to support each other is amazing.

Thanks for the info about the witch hazel, I will be getting some in along with the Arnica. I have never used it before but my surgeon said to take it 3 days before surgery and then after.  If it helps or not I will give it a go.

I keep thinking about bringing my surgery forward, as my daughters have different half terms and I have booked it for my youngest half term as I wont be able to drive her to nursery but I am now thinking I should book it for my eldest daughter half term as he will be able to help me at home more than the youngest, and the youngest wont really understand why mummy cant help her do things while she is off nursery.  not really sure what to do. x

the option of bringing it forward... ooo yes :P
Having an older one around is easier because they can understand and help out a little and not expect so much. My 6yr old has been fabby, asking if I needhelp and makig sure not to hurt me, my little boy on the other hand is still up to mischief hehe...

Yes im lucky I've always had such a close relationship with my mum - we've been through a lot and always been strong for each other :)

I never took my arnica before my surgery but started it after I came out of my BA.. you can also get arnica cooling cream, they sold out where I was so only got normal arnica cream but that is supposed to be good too.. the only 3 things I bought for it :)
let me know if you do bring it forward :) exciting :D xx
