Re: Picturetrail so far
Ooh enjoy your glass Kati.
I'm having a glass of champagne while OH is watching footie haha. Have had a really good birthday. I'm not the one for parties anyway. I still can't believe I didn't fit 34D sports bra earlier.. Kati let me know when you try on some bras- I think you will be DD or even E.
That waterproof glue sounds amazing. It's probably expensive hence Transform doesn't use it ;)
I can't wait to have my dressings taken off on Monday to see the incisions.. They are all covered up atm xx

I will defo let you girls know when I try on some bras :)
I didn't find out anything about the glue until afterwards when I asked about bathing hehe...
My macom just arrived about 5mins ago, so going to get into that in a few mins :) It's defo loosened either swelling going down or im getting used to it but the bigger size will be so much better :)
It's amazing what a proper bath can do for your mood hehe
xx

Ok little update as i've been kept busy by my mum today...
tried on my macom, was so excited... it is waaay too big, the band just hangs there *sigh* guess I have to put up with the XS and just get on with it...
I am going to return it and let them know that its too big and that I already have the smaller size so just a refund thanks... hassle! xxx

Re: Picturetrail so far
What a hassle Kati! The macoms also stretch so hopefully it will feel more comfy.
I got some arnica gel yesterday and applied it earlier straight out of the fridge. Lush cool feeling. Also made me feel a lot more comfortable. I recognise the sting feeling in my left boob now- feels exactly the same sensation when I had the drain pulled out from it. Strange

Re: Picturetrail so far
I know Kdee, but yeah I do feel a little more comfy in the XS than I did a few days before as I guess it has stretched a bit more and/or im getting used to it more... small price to pay I guess, as I could be in a lot of pain in my boobs or worse... so I am grateful.
Yes its very cooling and does make a huge difference :) glad you have some. I get weird tingling sensations occasionally and they only otherway I can describe it as it is so similar to the let down you get when breastfeeding when the milk started pouring out haha... very strange.. guess my nerves are starting to work hahaha xxx

Re: Picturetrail so far
I used witch hazel on them twice a day for the first few days - other than that I just let them go down naturally. Didn't need ice or anything. Arnica for my bruises and arnica cream on the incisions and that's all I took and used :) xxx

aww that sucks Tink, yeah my bath was greatly needed, just made me feel human again haha. Im not normally a bath person to be honest but I really wanted one and felt it would be better than a shower. Water projected onto my new boobies sounded too scary haha xx

Re: Picturetrail so far
Hey girls, I will on you later my details. Out at the moment. Away to get my stitches out and get measured in bravissimo and maybe try a few support bras on that for a bit better.
Slept a bit better Kadi thanks. I liked being lower down but my neck is still stuff and sore in the mornings. After my morning painkillers I'm ok till bedtime usually and only taking them for upper back soreness :)
Sorry you have boobie blues hunny. I have that coming and going in waves too. Feel guilty and selfish then happy and confident. Then they are uneven and squished. Too small. Too big. Haha just mixed emotions haha. The Macom really does flatten them a lot. Yours are great though hunny so don't worry too much. Xxxx

Re: Picturetrail so far
I hope all goes well with your appointment :)
A week has flown by so quickly!
I'm feeling tons better today. I totally understand your feelings- it's been a major operation after all so mixed emotions are only natural. I'm always happy that I have had them done- I can't see that changing.
Look forward to your update regards bra size xxx

Re: Picturetrail so far
Yeah everything went good, just posted it on my other topic but yeah as is well...
A week has gone by soo quick although in some senses it dragged but looking back its quick haha...
I glad you feel better, I'm just having a few emotional problems at home as well which don't help to the whole emotional rollercoaster from the BA as well...
Of course you won't regret having them done as it is an improvement none the less whether they are too small or too big :) better than none at all haha
My measurements were 28 FF, she put me in a 28 G at first but it was a little lose so the FF was perfect. Made my day completely. I would never ever in a million years have guessed at that size... just amazing!! can't wait to get measured at 6 weeks post op too :) Eeeee! :D :D happy happy xxxx
How are you boobies doing? have you much swelling still? and have you seen your incisions yet? When do you see your nurse/surgeon next? xxx

Re: Picturetrail so far
Hi Kati. I just replied in the other topic too. I was out to have dinner with friends and just got in and I'm back on forum (OH is watching boxing on tv!)
FF= fabulous & fantastic :)
Congratulations - I bet it made your day. I am so looking forward to having mine measured.
Sorry to hear you are having so much to deal with at home- dealing with healing from BA is hard enough. Big hugs to you hun xx
I'm tons better than last night, when I felt really low. I wore a dress tonight over my macom and it looked great :) I have no regrets about my BA whatsoever!
Seeing nurse on Monday for dressing change and stitch removal and surgeon in 6 weeks time. Can't wait to see what the incisions look like. I think the swelling is lesser but some definitely still there on the left. It feels much harder. Right is feeling a lot softer on gentle touch.

Re: Picturetrail so far
Multiple topics Is confusing haha....
I love that FF=fabulous & fantastic hehe...
It defo made my day for sure, I was just so gobsmacked, my face was just this O shape... the girl was like.. oh! is that good orrrr....? I was like im amazed completely I would never have thought.. she went away to get a size she though would fit and never even told me what it was just stuck it on and went hmmm a little bit big, so next size down... so I was feeling all sad at this point.. back to the usual, next size down, nope, next size down, nope... so she put the next size down on me..sigh.. and it fit pretty well.. except the right boobie was a bit lower so didn't fill the cup as well as my left did... it looked really good.. so I asked "what size is that?" 28 FF.. I could've died honestly... can't wait to see her in 5 weeks time for my 6 week consultation and check up and get measured again eeek!
I'm glad you feel better hun, the macom is really flattening so try not to worry too much, they look quite squished and tiny in it, although I put an old top of mine on and it looked almost 'normal' to what I was like in my padded bras hehe..
Oooo let me know how you get on tomorrow for you change in dressings.. take some pics of your incisions and see how well they healed and get them on pic trail :)
I feel I have barely any swelling left now, they just seem constant the past 3 days or so.. haven't updated pic trail as its just the same at the moment.. didn't look yet today so will see if any changes haven't taken place over night hehe...
My left is still quite hard too, and my right is soft and getting more bounce and squish to it... but not completely soft obviously hehe...
eeee! can't wait for the next few weeks ahead for us :) xxxx
