I can wear underwired bras!!
Heyyy, girliess!
I emailed my personal coordinator yesterday and asked her if she could ask my surgeon if I can wear underwired bras yet.. (I forgot to ask him at my 6-week consultation).. She emailed me back and said he said that's fine!! I'm so happy!! I can now go properly shopping for sexy underwired bras! Do you think I'll be able to wear plunge bras aswell? I'd love to enhance my boobs as much as possible!!
Thanks, girls! I hope you're all well xxxxx

That's great news, mine is still hurting so I'm going to play it safe with support bras til they stop. Are yours aching? They were really hurty today, aching with shooting pains both of them. I don't like my boobies yet :-(

Yeah congrats hunny, only thing is I'll say is plunge bras are fine however, you will have to break your boobs into them. Wearing an underwired bra pushed them into an unnatural postion and can ache afer and whilst wearing them.

Aww no! That's not nice for you, babe :( I have to admit, I wore an underwired bra for a meal out the other day and my boobs didn't like it at all.. They ached and hurt after I took it off so I think I might play it safe like you for a while. I really hope you start to like your boobies, babe! They look really big in your avi! What size did you have?

Re: I can wear underwired bras!!
Woop woop! Just echoing MrsB, it can take a while to break them back in, so don't go in for a days wear immediately. I took a sports bra in my handbag to work for a couple weeks just in case! I still like to take it off in the evening.
Plunge should be fine, but as you're still so early, they may not yet go into the shape you expect immediately. Just try on a couple different shapes, see what suits you. And don't go mad! You might find they fluff in a month and you need a different size already!

Re: I can wear underwired bras!!
Thanks so much, Charlii! That's really helpful advice and I'll be sure to follow it! :) You're right, I've already tried on plunge bras as I was curious as to how they'd look and my boobs don't go into any sort of cleavage or anything. I think they still need to drop and soften a bit because they're still pretty stiff and high :)
Thanks babe xxx

Re: I can wear underwired bras!!
Congrats, for mega cleavage for a night out (not all day) when your boobs can manage under wire again. I would suggest 1 cup size smaller than you measure, just because in the early days it can be a nightmare to get killer cleavage because boobs can still be a bit firm and uncooperative.

Re: I can wear underwired bras!!
whoop whoop congrats on being given the all clear hun!
i also had to break mine in fairly slowly, and then all of a sudden it was fine, and i didnt need to carry a sportsbra around in my handbag anymore ;)
i still can't push mine together into a cleavage properly so like mrsball i've also found balconettes to make the most of my boobs :) instead of plunge style..
enjoy shopping :)
