When can you start to wear underwired bras ???
Hi girlies
I just wondered if there was a set time when you can start to wear under wired bras ?? I'm 10 days post op and my surgeon said I can wear a normal non unwired bra after 2 weeks then back to see him in 4 weeks ! Do you think he will give me the go ahead then?
Don't want to be going to my works Xmas party in a groovy bra lol :-)

Generally we're given a 6 week time frame before we can wear wired bras zoie.
It does seem to be becoming more common though for us to have to wait till we're 12weeks post-op. xxx

No Cazzy.
It's really not worth risking your recovery for the sake of one night out sweetheart and setting yourself back, or worse. You also risk making the after care plan you have in place now void if you go against your surgeons advice.
Sorry, babe, I know that's not what you wanted to hear but to gain the very best from your recovery you have to follow your surgeons advice which is tailored to YOU. xx

That makes sense I was just curious really. At Xmas I'm gonna be 5 weeks PO. I will just have to see what my ps suggests I do and il follow his advice, definately not taking any risks. Hopefully il get a couple of new bras from Santa - so exciting!

I was in sports bras too over Christmas, Cazzy, when I had mine done. Although you prefer to wear wires for a specific look, you do manage to still look great even in sports bras. You have BOOBS! What better Christmas prezzie hey!!!! Xx

Thanks girls :-)
I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait, don't want to cause any problems by wearing one too early xxx

You also might find them uncomftBle at first so have to build up gradually the time you wear them! X
