Re: Macom arrived - so flattening!
My Macom is far tooooo big. I bought the large thinking I was a 36 but got measured properly and I am a 32! I have lost my despatch note to return it but emailed Macom and they said I can still send it back and they will exchange it for a small for me, so really pleased that I will have one that actually fits my band size now.
Kati, 5 days to go. Soooo excited for you. Xx

Re: Macom arrived - so flattening!
Sent my Macom back today so hopefully my small will be here soon. I have already taken some booby photos without a bra on which was horrible taking photos of 'them' and put them on my picturetrail ready for the after photos.
Hope today went ok for tyour pre-op. Only 3 days now for you. woop woop. xx

Re: Macom arrived - so flattening!
Hey Lucia, fingers crossed it comes soon for you :)
Yeah I hated taking my before photos, was awful..
My pre-op went ok, except they took my blood and she stuck it in too far because she was too busy looking behind her and then she ripped my arm a little with the needle, but I was brave and didn't move...
Apart from that I'm all good... :)
I got my height, weight, blood taken, blood pressure, oxygen levels, swab up my nose and a little Q & A
I then went shopping afterwards so it was worth the trip :D xx

well done you for being brace and not moving, but what the heck was she doing looking behind her, that's not good at all. So glad everything else went OK and you even managed to get some shopping in too.

Re: Macom arrived - so flattening!
She wasn't being very considerate at all...
Basically she stuck the needle in (sore) filled up the tube with blood, while my mum held my hand. She forgot to pick up the cotton wool for me to hold on, so she asked my mum to grab it from a drawer and while she was watching my mum behind her she kept pushing the needle further and further in and I was trying to pull my arm back a bit then when my mum handed her the cotton wool she flicked the needle up insteasd of drawing it outwards and ripped my arm :(
bruised a lot and sore, but ah well... price to pay for my surgery I guess.
I can't believe its two days away now. I have been so busy I haven't even packed... feel like I'm so unorganised hehe.
Going to pack tonight.
Unfortunately my ex ex, has decided he wants to complicate things for me on purpose and decided he doesn't want to look after the kids after all.... so had to upgrade the room my mum is staying at and take them along with us... stressful but under control...
so now I have 3 cases to pack and a house to tidy up a bit by tomorrow... then try get to bed early as I will have to be there for 9 am.. which means leaving at about 6am eeeek! so exciting though :D xx
has your macom arrived yet?

Re: Macom arrived - so flattening!
oh hun, that nurse seems like a cow, but like you say a littel price to pay for the boobs of your dreams.
And what a nightmare about your ex ex, thats just not on deciding at such late notice that he wont have the kids for you, so unfair, but glad you managed to sort a bigger room for your mum and the kids.
Hope you have managed to get the bags all packed now as the big day is tomorrow.
My Macom has not arrived yet, but I got a confirmation email this morning saying they have received my large back and will be posting me the small today, so it should be here soon.

Ah that's goo that they let you know it's been received.
Yeah the kids dad has been playing up a bit, and doing it a few days before was just a nightmare.
But my mum has been so supportive and just says we'll manage fine :)
My kids bags are packed, mine is still to be done.. I shall be doing it in an hr or so and make sure everything is in there.. talk about last minute haha! I've just been so rushed off my feet and had no car for a week and picked it up yesterday - been dashing about and when home, had no energy, so at least this is an excuse for a rest :D
xx

Re: Macom arrived - so flattening!
Yeah I'm ok Sahara, discomfort and such but awake surprisingly. They won't give me more pain killers as I'm small and I've had the max already. And said I should wait to eat. My left is quite a bit bigger than my right one but from what I can see they look about the right size. Just hope this isn't them swelled up too much xxx

Re: Macom arrived - so flattening!
I was ok. They put on anesthetic cream and a really nice nurse held my hand while he put it in.
Was never the surgery I was scared about, just really needle phobic. But yeah went well.
Can't decide whether I'm tired or not. One minute I'm thinking wow I'm shattered but then I'm sitting upright wife awake haha xx
