Re: Getting measured for the first time post BA..
Hi girls, could someone tell me how long post ba do you have to wait til you can get measured pleased. I've been told to wear my sports bra for 3 months before I can wear underwires, so there's no real rush, but would be nice to know as soon as poss, but could I not theoretically get measured the day after ba. Thanks xxxx

Bgorringe. I have been measured twice (first for fit to get a sports bra, few days post op and 2nd time weekend just gone out of curiosity!) No wires for 3 months though with Mr H xx

Re: Getting measured for the first time post BA..
bgorringe, it will differ girl to girl. Some of them are allowed wires at 6wks, I was 8wks, some are 12. Theoretically, yes you could get measured straight after. But there'd be no point. Theyre constantly changing, especially for the first 3months, so it would be a wasted trip really. Theyre also going to be held so high that they wont sit in a bra properly. I went at 8wks for my bday, measured into a DD, and another couple months later I was spilling out of them. So even when you do go for that first fitting, theres no guarantee that thats your final size!
