post op appointments?
Hi, girls!!
Jist wondering.. Will i ever see my surgeon again? Or will i just see the nurse at future appointments? I'm at Transform and have heard all you girls talking about 'getting the all clear from your surgeon at 6 weeks etc..' Will i get this? Because no one has told me about it and tomorrow i'm getting my stitches removed hy my the nurse.
Thank you, sweeties xxxxx

I think you'll still see your surgeon at 3 months but if you have any concerns then you have to arrange an additional apt with surgeon, that's what I'm doing. Their not expecting to see me before 3 months but just want to check with him myself. x

Re: post op appointments?
I had surgery with Transform Toni.
You should have an appointment with 'the surgeon' at 6 weeks post-op. Sometimes this may be a little later because their surgeons work on a monthly turn around, so it'll be on the month your surgeon is in clinic. If you don't have an appointment with your surgeon arranged for around the 6 week check then do call and get them to do that for you sweetie. You'll be able to see the surgeon again at 6 months and again at 12 months when your surgeon will tell you there's no reason to come back again unless you have any problems babe.
Hope that helps hun. Xx

Thank you so much, MissIndependant! I know, my mum's always feeling my boobs and i'm always getting her to measure the volume of each boob and compare them haha! She's getting sick of me! I'm such a worrier haha! Glad to see you're getting on really well though :)
And thank you ever so much, Cookie! I'll do just that! I don't want to be pushy or needy but i just want to make sure i'm getting the maximum care i'm entitled to and paid for :)
Thank you so, so much xxxx

Re: post op appointments?
You're not at all being pushy in expecting your post-op advise to come from the surgeon you paid for hun.
EVERYONE, no matter which clinic should have their boobs checked and given the all clear 'by their surgeon' before being able to go back to excercise and being able to wear wires.
This advise should come from no-one but the surgeon. You paid a lot of money not just for the surgery but for the surgeons expertise and its their work, so they should follow it, monitor it and clear it when they feel their patients boobs are ready 'in their expert opinion' xx

You'll be allocated another surgeon now for any check ups or concerns you might have and need to see a surgeon babe. XxPrincess_x wrote:I saw mine at 3 months and a year.. he said I can come back anytime but he's left the company I used so I'm not sure how that would work x

Wow, I came back on here and saw my post had 19 replies! Thanks, girls!!
Okay so you've all reassurred me that it's perfectly acceptable and normal to request seeing my surgeon. I'll definitely ensure i book future appointments to see him then :)
Once again, thank you, you're all little diamonds xxxx
