Re: Very impressed with Transform!
Yeah, i agree with Cookie on being completely knowledgeable about what could go wrong and all the risks and complications. I meant that you shouldn't worry and go against your good feelings about a certain clinic because you've read some bad reviews. You need to make your own personal choice after weighing up all the benefits and risks. Good luck in making your choice!xxxxx

Re: Very impressed with Transform!
hmmmmm...
I didnt use transform - i opted for Spires in the long run..
I DID however go to transform as part of my consultation etc ..
Now - to me - there are 3 sides to a BA coin - the personal thought / decision to have a BA, choosing the surgeon and then the after care
To me the MOST IMPORTANT ARE Aftercare and Surgeon.
Now i was very thorough with my consultation - and i have said here alot of times without naming the clinic - that one of the big companies - had in their afer care - cc / rippling etc all covered within the 3yrs ..
Now i asked - what if i had cc and that was treated and then i later had rippling (all within the 3 yrs) is that still covered and i was told NO ... that clinic was / is transform..
I did like the surgeon i met there Mr M.. he was fantastic etc .. i saw him once and he offered me 465cc ...
of course i liked the 465cc (they were huge, coming from no boobs at all)
I eventually went to Spires and had my consultation etc - there i told my surgeon at sizing i wanted 435cc.. my srugeon was SO reluctant - he called me in for a 2nd sizing chance - where he actually got a 435 and placed on my chest and we found out the base width was way too much on mi..
he did the measuring bit etc - and said 380cc is the ideal he will go for as that will be look good on me ..
Now remember i was still very much pre ba - and all i could think about was cup size - which i asked him and he said i cant tell you really what cup size you will be ...
Aftercare! after care!! aftercare!!! My oh my!!!!
whilst i agree that even the best surgeon could still have complicated BA, what i dont agree with is the treatment and cunning ways of the bigger clinics / companies ..
we all wish we didnt have complications - truth is some of us will ..
this last weeks - Rexie and Tinks (apologies ladies) have had revisions - Tinks has a fantastic PS who is BAAPs reg and made her journery to revision has easy as possible - but her emotions have been on wild fire for a while - i can only imagine what it would have been like for her if she was battling a bigger company..
Not sure who it is - but there is another lady on here who had at least 3 complications at a go from her first BA - muscle distortion / cc / and something else ...
Now ask transform - if you had 3 complications at a go - what will happen?
I am just want a situation where should we ladies develop any complications - we are not faced with paying out another couple of grands to rectify it..
I am sure we all dont want to get hit with that ..
this is truly an expensive journey / decision (for me personally) and Cookie (apologies lady) had to use her son's uni fees for a re-op which resolve all her issues ..
she was still left with a leak for a while and eventually had to go else where ...
a BA is an elective surgery - u should not have to be coerced into it - this aint Tesco.. and besides - there is only one Harrods sale ...
Please ladies - i cant stress enough - we are paying a lot of money for this - the responsibility is ours to check the little prints / big prints and most importantly who is putting the scapel under your skin!!!
All the best hun - and for the amount you are willing to pay - trust me you should find a good surgeon ...
Another thought - i have found out only the most experienced and top notch PS use the 5th gen implants aka the gummy bears / furries etc...

Re: Very impressed with Transform!
Not read up on all.of this busy busy but yup complications can happen I had 3 and know that some clinics will only sort one and thats if its covered in the aftercare, i was lucky enough to.get all 3 complications sorted
But its def been.and still is such a mixed bag of emotions when u have complications then its even worse when u have the reop.
Aftercare is def very important get exavtly whats covered and for how long its covered for also if a complication comes from a co
Complucation is that covered too? xx

Re: Very impressed with Transform!
Thanks Tinkerbell , when I have seen everyone I want to see I am going to sit back and have a good look at all the aftercare and cross reference to help me make a decision! Will be seeing advice from you lovely ladies at that point as I find aftercare to be the most confusing part so much small print xxx
