Only 3 days post-op...not impressed lol!!
I feel awful writing this but...I'm not entirely thrilled with my new babies
I've been having a few peeks on adjusting my bra and strap and just don't feel 'happy' with them, I know every day brings changes and it really is early days however, they just seem small, high up and have an unsightly gape between them
Did any of you girls ever feel this way?
Because I can't help but feel a tinge of regret and keep thinking that I should have left well alone, my own boobs were small and deflated after having my daughter but at least they looked 'normal'!!!

Hun I don't think you're the first to feel this way. Not everyone loves their boobs straightaway. But I definitely think you should give it more time, they're bound to look llike everything but boobs at this stage. I'm pre-op and I've resolved to only look (or should I say stare) at them after my 7 day check up...
If it helps share pics and we can be honest and tell you what we think or the post op girls can give you an idea also x

I remember feeling he very same way hun, not so much that they were small but that the looked like high up, shiny cones that were just stuck to my chest and didn't move at all, I was worried. By 1 week they looked much better and I was so happy. Give it a few days hun, I'm sure once they start to settle you will feel better.

I felt exactly like you do initially. Mine looked stuck on and just wierd! They need time to settle, the swelling to reduce, muscles to relax etc and 3 days is really early - the end result looks no way like they do now. Im sure lots of girls will be along to agree and you will feel very different in a few weeks time.

I agree with what everyone else has said. I was depressed everytime I looked at my cones! I'm only 19 days post BA and I still have regret type thoughts. I see them change n get better everyday, just not fast enough for me....lol! I don't actually regret getting them, I just wish they woulda came out perfect and we can skip all this dropping and swelling crap.

I agree with what everyone has said. I cried seeing mine for the first time, weird looking pointy shiny high up etc. They really do change though. If you like you can take a peek at my pics to see how much they change over the months. Just pm me for password.

Awwwwww bless you babes I felt the same about mine for at least the first couple of weeks.they jusy need time to settle into their new home+for me it took a couple of months to really accept the "new me"!
Give yourself a little time to rest up and heal+you need to get all the nasty GA out of your system(drinks lots of water to help) You'll feel much better soon hunnie.

Awww as you've read sexybum it's not at all unusual not to love your boobs at first.
I think pre-op we can read so many posts from ladies all loving their new assets and we sit clutching our little oldies hoping for the same, then the new babies arrive, we look down, they're wonky, swollen, too big, or too small, too high or too low, you name it, most of have boobs that start off not quite how we imagined, but given time and watching your boobs change day by day they gradually feel more and more like your own... those boobs - you'll love... 12 weeks I waited to love mine hun! 12 weeks! I thought they'd never arrive!! But they did.. Just give it time hunni.

Aww hun I know exactly how you feel ....feel like I should of left well alone too !!! But it does help so much to hear what the other girls say ..... I cant imagine these things ever feeling remotely natural and like they belong to me again !!! I cant stop crying ..... am hoping its the effects of the GA in my system still ..... feel so guilty spending all that money ... then not even happy !!!! Feel like a right ungrateful madam !! Hope you feel happier soon sweetie xx

I felt the same early days too xx I had one day when all I did was sat and cried about what i had done to myself xx fortunately the girls on here picked me and put me back together again
It takes time xx My advice, try not to sit and stare for hours on end at your new additions in the early days, you tend to over analyze xx
3 Days is very early sweety xx Lots of changes to come xx

Re: Only 3 days post-op...not impressed lol!!
Definitely agree with what everyone has said - am 8 days post op today and am having my stitches checked tonight and dressings taken off and I have pretty much avoided looking at mine (apart from quicky glimpse) when changing bras because I know they haven't settled into what they will eventually become. Just give it time xxx

Re: Only 3 days post-op...not impressed lol!!
I was quite poorly post op so only briefly saw my boobies in the hospital and then didn't see them again until my 7 day check up. When I did they were quite swollen (esp rightie) hard, high and really didn't look or feel like boobies should. They felt really heavy and like 2 huge pointy cones stuck on my chest.
I am 3 and a half weeks post op now and they look and feel quite different to what they did, even to last week. The swelling has almost gone and they have definately softened and no longer sit so high on my chest. They also don't feel like they are about to fall off now!
It's still early days, I'm seeing changes (even slight changes) every other day so hang in there, it does get better. I wish I could just skip all this and have the boobies i'll end up with now, but on the other hand I guess we would miss seeing all the changes that take place and it is such a buzz waking up to see if anything has changed!

Girls thank you,
I really do appreciate your encouraging words!
I'm honestly not looking now, when I'm changing my bra/strap I having assistance from my OH and closing my eyes
He thinks they look great but I guess I'm a typical girly girl and never entirely happy...looking for perfection and it really doesn't exist!!
As soon as I can I'm going to try and get some pics up, when I'm feeling VERY brave haha
lots of love

Ahhh bless ya
I wasn't ecstatic initally post op with mine either - one larger, one higher, not big enough, too big, wonky.....BUT I absolutely love them now, best thing I ever did and they are just perfect.
Give yourself time to get used to them and for them to settle into their shape, because they will, it is just a waiting game. Chin up! xxxxx
