8 days post op
Just had my one week post op and had steri strips removed , can't shower for another week as one one side there is a tiny bit of oozing :( so looks like il be trying to get my partner to wash my hair over the sink or going to the hairdressers .
I no longer have to wear the cheat bands I only have I wear a bra now for 24 hours every day .
Hopefully when she her again next week I will get the all clear to shower which seems likely ,
Saw scars feel like Frankenstein lol I know will fade so not worried , apart from that all ok I had dissolvable stitches .
Still have slight swelling on boobs and defiently swelling on my sternum which is what's causing me pain ,
No signs of infection etc so everything is looking up :)

Re: 8 days post op
Glad everything is ok I'm 2 weeks post op today and I'm about to have my second shower...weirdest feeling because your abit scared to go in the shower or get too wet if that makes sense. I had everything removed Monday and my nurse said they've dropped and gone into pocket already! I had overs, very little swelling and bruising. I took arnica religiously a week before surgery! My other half had to help me do everything but I think he secretly enjoyed being my hairdresser haha hope everything goes ok. Xxx

Wow in two weeks that's very quick u must be really pleased , I had unders so guess I may take a little while longer especially as there is abit of swelling still .
I'm not sure if in bra correctly I put it on when got he as she didn't have my notes so didn't know If I could be without it .
It's really weird as I have actually seen one of the stitches pointing out lol and she just left it x

Glad its all going well. They really have done a fab job. Which clinic do you go to? Do you get to see an actual nurse or just your pcc?
I would like disolvable ones too, did you have to request them? I had disolvables when I had my C-Section x
