7 days post op.....

Yay!!! not long got back from my first consultation with the nurse since my new boobs. I have had the dressings removed and end of dissolvable stitches removed (ouch) and I can now see the incisions, hats of to Dr Michael Payne as they are neat and in the crease so very happy.

Can say it has almost been the perfect experience although I have lost the feeling in my left nipple and its unknown if it will return....... small price to pay for my new boobs and as I see it, it will be less work for my next boyfriend..... .

I have also been given the all clear to have a proper shower, so can now wash my hair and body at the same time instead of bum and bits in shallow bath followed by head held over the shower in the worlds most uncomfortable position.

The nurse has told me there will be al lot more changes that my boobs will make in the coming weeks however i felt a bit sad as i like the stuck on look , ahhhh well only time will tell how they end up???

I'm feeling ok. Pretty stiff & quite achy but not to bad! They feel like they are going to fall off though! My scars have started itching today & my nipples have got sensation again so things are slowly moving forwards. I hate my bra though, feels really uncomfy - can't believe I've got to wear it for another 6 weeks

Enjoy you shower, my first one was bliss and I stayed in there for ages x

I'll be in there for a week or two, bit scared to be honest......... don't like going without a bra for longer than 2 mins.

I was told it was ok to keep the bra off for no longer an hour each day x

It was a bit scary at first though having it off for a length of time x

Oh I was like that too! They feel so heavy and to me without a bra felt like they were going to fall off! ..........I had a quick peek at them the day after my op then didnt look at them again with out cradlein them in my arms .......took me about 6 weeks to get over the feeling.

Crystal that is exactlt how i felt, they seem so heavy when out of a bra, just hope they lighten up????

Today I think I may be having some sensation returning to my left nipple, it seems to be tingling and experiencing a slight burning sensation. Fingers crossed I get the feeling back???

It sounds like the feeling is coming bk hun, thats a good sign... i also quite like the stuck on look, (high up) as ive never had any boobs, the tops were always empty, so its so nice to have the boobs high if that makes sense? lol..

I think ur boobs will always look nice quite high and full, i saw ur pics, and they are amazing... im really jel lol xx

Lindsaylouise - I do love them stuck on, will have to see how they end up, only time will tell. Fingers crossed the feeling is coming back, i have to pinch my nipple hard and I can just about feel it....... better than before as couldn't feel anything.
Chanhassen - The shower is lovely however just can't get used to the heavy boob feeling, its so odd. They r heavy ha ha, hope this passes and my body accepts them...... How r u feeling??

Awwwww Rachg1 only 17 days and then u enter club booby lol. I love my boobs, they are just there, even in a sports bra they are just sat like to proud soldiers ha ha!!! I have cone boobs at the moment but not once have I thought 'what have I done' or worried about the look of them. Being on this forum prepared me for everything, even the loss of sensation to my left nip ha ha.
I just love them, its the best feeling well secondary to being a mum of course.

I'm sure you'll love them like I love mine.
