he only offers one year after care. It was ps at Nuffield and I was so happy until he told me he only offers one year of after care. I am so confused now. I have a consultation at transform next week so I won't make any decide yet. Anybody else been with Nuffield or have any words of wisdom to offer.

Thanks ladies x

That doesn't seem long at all, is it just that particular ps or the clinic in general? x

As the others have said hun, that really doesn't seem like long for after care. I would check this out, as hopefully you shouldn't need much aftercare, but if you did then you are going to be forking out extra.

Good luck hun xxx

If you go with a company you'll get a better aftercare package. Its possible the surgeon you like will work for one of the big companies and the aftercare is always better than just paying that particular surgeon privately. xxx

My doctor offers no aftercare (except of course for follow-ups to check for problems). But he has no "waranty" for the procedure.

I couldn't be happier with his work though.

One year isn't vrry long when others are offering up to 5 years. There is no guarantee with surgery and anything can happen. I know my aftercare runs out in may and I'm trying to make sure I have enough for another op should I need it.

I was so surprised when I was looking around- as the private hospitals offer less service with higher prices than the high street companies! I know that they probably argue that their work doesn't require 'long term warranty' but no surgeon can guarantee against problems such as cc. I am with the hospital group- having natrelles so the implants have lifetime cover (although will probably need replacing by 15years) and im sure I have 10 year cover on the actual surgery?! I may be wrong, but either way it was good, and considerably better than the care offered from the private surgeons!!!

I think you might have 10 years for baker grade 4 and 5 cc or rupture, not sure.
