At 3 months post-op its really not something I'd be concerned about Princess. It can take a year or more for full sensation to return - 2 years for nipple sensation!

So at 3 months post-op you're really still so early in your recovery and have such a long way to go yet before healing 'on the inside of your breasts is done.

Of course loss of sensation is something we're ALL warned about pre-op when we have a consultation with our surgeon but its often something we don't hear because once we hear we can have the boobs we want for many of us the rest is just blah, blah, blah.....

But it is a risk. Not a high one, I will say, infact a VERY low risk and the vast majority of women will have full sensation return after healing. Xx

I'm having my op today but my surgeon did tell me that it may take a few months to regain sensation.. Up to 6 months sometimes! I wouldn't worry.. If your surgeon is comfortable that this is normal, then just wait and see. It's still early days yet, honey! Good luck and keep us updated xxxx

I'm just over a year and still don't have any feeling in my lefty nipple or under boob. It can take a good couple of years to regain sensation . X

Hate to say but I have had 2 c-secs and I still have a numb tum around the insision area and my eldest is nearly 8..... It is very normal, although odd it doesn't bother me. Don't worry hun....not just a boob thing but an op thing generally anywhere where the body has been opened.
