Re: Sports bra help
Its always a good idea to have two so you can wear one wash one.
The macom is always a good one because you only need to know your band size which takes the pain out of needing to know what size to get for after.
However the shock absorber gets great reviews (i havnt got that one) and yesterday i brought the triumph tri action extreme which is also comfortable :) not that your be running for a while but it really holds them in place lol!
Anyone that you like thats a high impact sports bra xx

Re: Sports bra help
You surgeon should be able to give to a guestimate on resulting sizes Boney, so if you email/call and ask they should be able to give you that information so you can get yourself prepared.
Once you have that you'll have a better idea of what you'd like to buy. My personal favourites are the Triumph Triaction Extreme, because of its comfort and low cut, so you can wear with almost anything, unlike most sportsbras which are high up on the neck so you have to wear clothes that cover it up high. Its also padded on the shoulders and around the band. My other fav is M&S front zip bra. Its high on the neck so I tend to use this bra for bed, but its modern with leopard print piping and super cute with matching coloured Knicks so you don't look grannyish at all which I found I did with many of the sportsbras. But with these two, I didn't.
Everyone has their personal favs though and I'm sure they'll be along to tell you soon.
Here's the forums most pospular bras:
The bras most commonly used here are:
The Macom. If you like this bra, which doesn't require a 'cup size' then typing MYBREAST into the promo code will get you 15% off.
M&S Front Zip Fastener
M&S pack of two high impact sports bras
Triumph Triaction Extreme
Shock Absorber (high impact)
With the back fasteners, if you also buy bra extenders this covers you also for any additional swelling you may have around the rib area hun. Xx

Shock Absorbers are my favourites and your surgeon will be able to tell you what size to buy x

Re: Sports bra help
Hey, I bought two macom sizes 34 and 32 also bought the zip front m&s sports bra (32e)
I omly wore the size 34 macom one full day as the swelling round my ribs disappeared within a day so wore my size 32 macom the rsst of time alternating it with my m&s zip front - now wearing my macom to bed as my zip front sports bra is too big on the band and too small in the cup (new size 30g)

Thanks for all your help. Cookie - I'm going to see the doc on the 11th so I will ask him then as I've been pecking so much recently. Xx
I've just tried to buy two Macoms in small but out of stock unfortunately, so I ordered a pink v pillow ha ha xxx
