Re: January Buddies
My Hubby is sick of it too secretly but he won't let on much. He rolls his eyes when I am on here...
No PS don't commit to much, I guess they have to be careful so its all "possibly".... "should do"...etc etc.
I noticed that with mine. Think more of the "look " you want. Most augmented boobs measure bigger than they look.. xx x

Re: January Buddies
just no room in the pocket for them to fit really, my surgeon and alot of surgeons use sizers, theyput them in fill them with saline water to the amount the implant will go to so that they know before they open the implants and try to get them in
I seen the sizers filled next to the implant sizes and they are EXACTLY the same size so its just so that the surgeon knows what is going to fit in xx

Re: January Buddies
I have never worn a padded bra but since having my 2nd baby i could stuff lots of socks into my old bras, i have moobs not boobs. My 4½ year old said Mum your boobies are funny. Glad someone enjoying looking at them! I LOVED my breastfeeding boobs, hoping for that size once BA is all done and dusted. I really like the ski slope look and hoping to fill nice bikinis when we go on hol this may. Is everyone else seeing boobies in their sleep, I am obsessed! Xx D

I am a total psycho when i am hungry! To be at Ross Hall 4.30 and hope i am taken on time. Will go myself from work and hubby will get me next day. So nice to know other girls getting theirs done soon too, we can give each other support. Hubby nervous about me going under GA again cos i had big emergency op 8 yrs ago but told him its a short op and will be in expert hands. I need to get some button tops this week. Are u all organised? Xx

Re: January Buddies
Hey green.... I had a GA almost 8 yrs ago too.... My first pregnancy....Long labour, emergency ...blagh blagh, Bang=GA.
So my hubby may share his concern....But we will be just fine.
I am all ready: V pillow, cold packs, hot water bottle, paracetamol, sweets/sweet drink for after op, mags, open front Pjs, zip up hoodies, slippers, wipes, sports bras....
Let me know if I forgot anything!!!

Re: January Buddies
Haha yeah I'm not looking forward to the fasting either! I've been on the Atkins diet, trying to lose the few extra lbs before the op, and as soon as I wake up I'm starving, but I'll have to get up at 4am to leave at 5:30 an have a 2 and half hour drive to Birmingham to get there for 8, then my op is at 9, that's 5 hours of not eating, is gona be soo hard! Lol. Have to keep thinking boobies, boobies, boobies... Lol xxx

Zrizzoo are you taking arnica, my surgeon said taking arnica 5 days before and couple days after will help the healing/bruising, don't know how much truth there is in that really xx

Re: January Buddies
hey ladies, i am thinking maybe the nerves will stop us being starving pre-op?
Tinkerbell, thanks for Ross Hall info, never been there before. Its in Crookston? I don't know the South side v well x
Krizzooo, i will need to look out my v pillow, good thinking x
Bgorringe, i am planning to just take arnica post-op as it thins the blood, apparently not to eat garli 48 hours pre-op for same reason.
Girls, what a nightmare with ur birth experiences xx I broke my spine in horse riding accident, got a plate and pins in my back but v lucky no nerve damage and i am totally fine. Did get helicoptered into hospital, rather embarrassing. Thankfully both births less stressful xx D

Re: January Buddies
Bgorringe: My PS doesn't like any herbal meds being taken at all, so not recommended to me :-( otherwise I would.
Tink: SAME. But my son was 10 days late.......latent phase labour from Thursday to Saturday! Then back to back...whipped down for emergency csec as no progression and heart rate etc changing. By then my spinal was wearing off, it freaked me out, I could feel so much, as they pulled Jacob out > that is it I was gone, GA done. My hubby was petrified.
I lost a lot of blood too, so had to have two transfusions. Bad time. But totally worth it of course, just wish it had been easy as most women find it!
Green: aaagh broken back YOWCH xx
