Friends reactions to new Boobs??
Hey girls,
For those Post Oppers, how did your friends respond to your new boobs??
I have told my close girl friends, and they've all been really supportive bless them. However, the response is always the same....'ooh when i next see you i can have a squeeze?!' or 'will you show them to me?!'
Now i love my girlfriends, but i don't have any desire to grope them or see them topless...i appreciate they are excited and a bit fascinated by my impending BA, but does this wear off?? Or should i just count myself lucky my friends are so excited for me :0) xxx

Re: Friends reactions to new Boobs??
No babe... Its YOUR body and it didn't become public property just because you had a boob job!
Don't ever feel you have to allow your friends anything YOU don't feel comfortable with hun. That's not why you had your surgery, it wasn't for your friends benefit at all, it was for YOU, they're YOURS and your augmented boobs are just as real as theirs hun so if that part of your body was 'private' pre- BA its not wrong at all for it remain private post BA.
You don't have to be rude to your friends babe, just explaining that you rather they didn't feel and that you feel a little uncomfortable about it and tell them that you hope they understand, its not about them, its about you and your feelings hun and there some things you'd just prefer to be private.
If they're good friends.... They'll understand babe.
I've only told my best friend out of my friends and acquaintances. She was very supportive when I had my first surgery and kept it to herself and respected that I'm the kind of person that likes my privacy. Xx

I think you should be glad that you're friends are supportive. You see a lot of the girls on here whos 'friends' snub them, or make nasty comments about it. But at the same time, its your body, and you should feel pressured into letting anyone touch it that you dont want to! Imagine if one of them had had an intimate cosmetic surgery, would they really want you snooping around their private parts?! It is an incredibly curious thing to someone who hasnt had it, because they only know what a 'real' boob feels like. But I dont know what a 'real' boob feels like, should I be having a grope of theirs? No. I would just politely but firmly decline their request to give them a squeeze.
For me, my girlfriends werent surprised, fully supportive, and genuinely pleased for me. We joke about them, but none of them have wanted to touch or see full frontal. Male friends havent been interested really. Except one, who wanted a private viewing

Re: Friends reactions to new Boobs??
Yes i am very grateful for their support. LOL - I also have no idea what a 'real' boob feels like either, but certainly wouldn't ask for a feel of theirs!!
They are very dear friends, so certainly won't mind me saying no to the gropes, i just didn't expect them to ask?!? It's lovely they are excited for me, but as Cookie described, i think i'll have to politely decline :0)
Oh dear, your male friend asking for a 'Private Viewing' doesn't sound good?? xx

My best friends were all lovely and supportive too, they also asked for a little squeeze and a look. I don't see a problem with that though, so I let them. It was only the once x

Plus dont forget, if you're not comfortable saying flat out no, theres loads of ready made excuses! 'theyre still really sore', 'theyre too firm right now to get a real idea', 'my surgeon said no squeezing until 3months (!)'...they'd have forgotten about it by then!!
He's an ex and a very good friend, so he claims he just wanted to see for comparison, coz he liked me without them! I laughed him off and told him only if I can see the results when he gets his pen15 enlargement...he was a bit sheepish after that

HaHa - good response, funny how they will be less keen when you ask to see their body parts
I'm sure after a few glasses of wine i won't mind my best friend having a little prod, but only if she lets me prod hers as a comparison :0) xx

Re: Friends reactions to new Boobs??
I remember a friend of mine having hers done and out of curiousity I asked to feel them. She had no problem with it.
BUT now the shoe is on the other foot................ HAHAHAAAA I wouldn't be bothered by a friend wanting to touch, not a grope though! And like you say I never asked or groped friends "natural boobs"....as i guess the curiousity isn't there.
I think all women who have not had a BA are a little curious, it is only natural and I'd have no problem with close freinds ASKING FIRST! Not just helping themselves!

That's great you're friends are supportive hunny, and I think for a lot of ladies it's curiosity!
It's totally up to you how you handle it, if you're ok with it then great however don't be afraid to say if you're not ok with it.
Have any of your friends been pregnant? I bet they didn't like their bellies being constantly touched of so!! X

Re: Friends reactions to new Boobs??
That's so true! My friends unfortunately haven't been pregnant, although i have - and was amazed how many people wanted to touch my bump! It's strange how pregnancy or BA makes people say/do things they wouldn't ordinarily do. After my first baby my mother in law asked me "how's your pelvic floor?"...at dinner in front of family I mean jesus!! I said "great thanks, hows yours?"mrsball wrote:

Needless to say she does NOT know about my BA plans!!

Re: Friends reactions to new Boobs??
hi hun,
it really is great that your friends are so supportive, we have had quite a few girls here who have experienced quite a bit of b**chiness towards them unfortunately.
the friends that i told (select ones) have also been supportive and some have asked to see and feel which i don't mind at all! i'm proud of my new boobs!! :)
with one friend i did have a prod comparison with her real boobs and mine. got to say i prefer mine haha but i may be biased! x

Re: Friends reactions to new Boobs??
Hi Hun, it's nice that your friends are supportive and interested in your new additions, mine were very much the same, and I was grateful for that as their support helped me through the recovery stages.
My friends have a poke just as they had the same questions "are they hard" "what's it like, what's the scar like" for me it was easier just to show them to shut them up, an I don't mind as Im proud of how they look :) 9weeks on and it's a boring conversation and they have got bored of it, it's up to you at the end of the day whether you show them or let them prod you lol,
It's better to have supportive friends than friends that aren't interested, at least you can share your excitement :) xx

Re: Friends reactions to new Boobs??
Thank all. Yes, i do feel very lucky for their support. I have only told my closest friends, as there are some female acquantances that i know will be very bitchy about it. But then again they bitch about everyone anyway - BA or no BA!! So sad that some people behave that way :0(
I have always been so self conscious about my boobs, not even wanting to show my husband! However, you never know...post BA i may be so proud i'll be showing them to everybody :0)
For now i will just count myself lucky to have their support, and see how i feel post Op about 'show and tell'. I'm sure you're right, once the initial excitement has worn off it they'll get bored xx

Re: Friends reactions to new Boobs??
hmmm .. didnt think of this ..
i have thought of saying my boobs 'grew' due to hormone treatment / cream...
cos i didnt want to answer any financial questions ...
hmmmm - i have one or two close friends ...
would hold a show and tell session when i am comfy ...
Asides that - to everyone else - its a NO
