Clothes to avoid that make you look too top heavy?
Hi girls,
Just wondering if there are clothes to avoid that make you look too top heavy? My friend is naturally a 32g and has told me that ruffles on the front make you look bigger and polo necks aren't a good look. Am starting to mentally plan my wardrobe and just thinking about what not to wear, I'm not getting mine done to flaunt an epic cleavage all the time and would like to cover my modesty at work, any ideas? x

Yes ruffles will make you look bigger! And horizontal stripes aswell? I'm still quite new to this aswell but black is slimming.. And also clothes that are fitting but not stretchy fabric are really nice too for work... It's sooo soo easy to hide them when you want.. it's showing them off that I find tough as I'm not sure what I should be looking for but I'm learning! :) xx

Anything that floats over your boobs instead of skims I feel makes 'me' look top heavy. Also high neck lines and smock like tops.
Don't be afraid of looking for a fitted look, it honestly flatters a large bust so much more than clothes to make them look bigger as suggested above.
A fitted look can look really classy for your everyday work, and incredibly sexy for your nights out too depending on the type of clothing you opt for, but I've definitely found fitted is best and have actually become quite the seamstress since having my BA because I find so many dresses fit in bust but the waist looks huge, so a strategically placed dart here and there can make it look fabulous! Haha.
Coats are my biggest nightmare though. I always have to buy a size bigger and always belted so I can bring it in at the waist.
I wish they made coats by cup size..... *siggghhhh* xx

Ohhhh thanks Blue. Really must take a look at those, because my husband forever jokes that it looks like I left the coat hanger in my coat because the back is too big on me hahahaha. Xxx

H yes pepper berry make clothes by cup size including coats and dresses for ladies that are 2 different sizes top and bottom. They're in bravissimo or part of bravissimo.
