Nipple pain Empty Nipple pain

Post by Geb2g08 3rd November 2013, 4:33 pm

Hey everyone,

So although I've split my stitches In my left boob I have no pain in that one!
However my right boob is so over sensitive! My nipple feels like it's grating against my sports bra and all down the side of it! Only way to describe it or compare the feeling is when I used to get freezing freezing cold that my nipples hurt or runners nipple.
Has anyone experienced this? And what did dung do to overcome this?

I'm almost two weeks post op having had 300 overs.

Thank you :)
Xx

Its very normal to have very sensitive nipples! Im 8 weeks today and mine still are very sore to touch, I hate it!
Early in my recovery I used moisturiser and you could also try a cotton pad in your bra to stop them rubbing...
this didn't work for me because they hurt so much and I just had to bare it to be honest, it got better around the three week mark although now they still are sore to touch...

ive seen that it gets better but returning to normal sensitivity can take months! xx

Thank you, it's just my left boob has normal feeling and right is so painful I was getting worried although they say it is like having two separate operations! Also feeling very bruised down my right side!
Bring on no pain and beautiful boobs! Xxx

I was exactly the same babe just the other way round - and the over sensitivity lasted weeks for me. Don't worry it's not unusual xxx

I know! its not nice, I still don't like to touch them now as its sore but earlier in recovery even the bra rubbing against them was painful... I did try icepacks on them to try to numb the pain but it didn't help much really... just had to ride it out! xx
