Side boobs / gappy cleavage!?
Am day 2 post op (375 cc anatomical unders). Am happy, and aware that things take ages to settle etc, but just wondering if you think there's anything I can do to push them together a bit...?! I'm wearing a sports bra with a 34 band (same as usual) and a d cup (which is not totally filled up with boob, as they're riding a little high).... My consultant said he'll review me in a week so am sure if I need a band or something he'll give it to me, but I just don't want to delay things if I can make a difference now...? What do you think? I don't want them to "key in" on my sides?!

You don't want to move your implants, the surgeon has created a pocket which your implants will move into, the support bra will help support them and its important you have a good one because they need that support...trying to move your implants will defeat the object..
If you had a wide cleavage before hand, this will always stay the same post op however when you are allowed to wear wires you will get a great cleavage..
right now (and for the coming weeks and months) your chest is holding the new implants very tightly, you have swelling also. The swelling over time will go and your chest will relax allowing the implants to move into a natural position. This will mean side boob will go down and your boobs may get closer together. (I had a lot of side boob and at almost 8 weeks post op it has improved a lot) Many of us do not wear a band (its normally ladies who use THG and its surgeon preference as to whether a surgeon will use a band or not)
So try to be patient, but whatever you do don't try and push them together, they need to adhere to the pocket and stay supported :) x

Have a look here hun
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Its because theyre held so high and tight. At this stag you really dont want to be co-ercing them into any shape other than in your sports bra, they have to heal, then they will drop and fluff. Jenns right, you will have the same cleavage as before, but only when theyre done.

def like the girls said you dont want to me moving them i any direction other than where the surgeon has placed them
At the beginning for a week I had a monoboob lmao the swelling between my sternum was so bad I looked like I had one boob
honestly get that bra on and dont look for a few days and you will see a huge diff then xx

At 2days post op they will look very much far apart and gappy this will all soften and come together when they settle. I know they can look awful early post op like 2 far apart torpedoes or stuck on half melons! Give yourself a lot of healing time and they will settle.
Stability in a sports bra is the best for them at the moment x

Thanks ladies! Knew it was probably the right thing to do, to leave well alone, but sometimes you just need to hear it from other people who've gone through it too...! Ill leave the new additions safely in their sports bra and ask the question next week at my one week appointment. All is well. Just wish these shooting pains would b*gger off! Otherwise recovery seems really good! It'd be a total breeze if I didn't have children to contend with! But they're constantly wanting cuddles / lifting / toys moving etc and I have to keep saying no, wait for daddy!!!! Boooooo!

You can have cuddles Hun, just use a pillow to cushion you and how old are they?
Maybe have the older ones help the younger ones , it gives them a sense of responsibility too plus helps you! X

Re: Side boobs / gappy cleavage!?
Oldest is 3.5 years and youngest is 11 months. The baby is over 12 kg though so can't be lifted other than by myself or husband :-( hence husband all the time. Which is driving me mental already as I'm like, do this, do that, careful he's going to fall etc etc ALL DAY! How will I manage two weeks of this?! I know I just have to grit my teeth, butt out and get on with it ;-) all in the name of good boobs.....!! Haha!
