Just thought to introduce myself and say hi to you all. I'm also having my BA in December, on the 17th to be more exact...still undecided about the implants though...both the size and the type! :D
I originally thought of having the furries, but I kind of changed my mind lately and now think I would be more comfortable with the Allergan Natrelle 410, and as for the size...well, I think that is the hardest choice ever! I am currently size 75A (barely :D) and would like to have a smaller to medium sized cup C after the BA. My surgeon recommended 335cc but this seemed soooo big to me when I tried the implants in the bra...do any of you ladies have the fear of ending up too big?? I would rather go for smaller implants, but the doctor said it would look like two tennis balls on me because apparently I have a rather wide chest...I have another pre-op consultation on the 13th to make my final choice and in all honesty, I'm more nervous about that than the OP itself! :D

Hi Anavi & welcome. At my initial consultations I was given choice of 300, 330 or 360cc. When I tried them all on I felt 360 & 330 felt massive & decided on 300cc, then after a few days with the rice boobs I was getting so used to size that I was wondering if I should go bigger, so I went back for another sizing appt and changed my mind to 330cc still feeling 360cc was too big.Now I'm blooming used to my 330cc rice boobs, lol and thinking should I go 360cc, but no after daily chats with myself at this late stage I'm sticking with 330cc.
The best advice is if your unsure trust your surgeon on what he's recommending and stick with that.x

Hi Louise.. My surgeon recommended 365 for me and after doing rice test I want to go bigger too.. Think you're right that we should stick with what he recommends.. X

You need to trust your surgeon. I have a wide chest and i am getting 460's - much bigger than yours!! I only want to be a C/D cup, but the projection from the larger implant is very similar, it's the width that changes. My surgeon explained that it will look less natural, like two balls plonked on my chest, if i don't get an implant that fits my measurements. He offered me 420cc or 46occ as he thinks that's best for me.

What i found really helped was a second sizing appointment and photo evidence. Take a white vest with you and ask the surgeon/nurse to take a photo of you wearing the implants. They will look massive to you because you aren't used to them. When i looked at my photo's i could see what they see, a body nicely in proportion. :0)

Don't be scared by the cc's, i've realised through my panicking that every body is so different. Take some pics with you to show your surgeon, then he can confirm he understands the look you want to achieve.

Hi Louise, you're right.. We want it to be perfect so much.. I think I will listen to my surgeon and go with the 365cc.. Transform offered me 460... I'm quite petite so felt huge and rice boobs were huge... Thought i was going to topple over.....do you have days when you're really excited and days where you're really nervous!! My emotions all over the place and vision the end result...I think that's what will get me through the op lol xx

MissC i took pics too so i could judge them properly, really helped.
Wonderwoman my emotions are mych more stable now and it's just excitement i feel. I was riddled with guilt a few weeks ago, but it didn't last long, lol and i have no shame at all in milking my recovery and having everyone take over for a few days, don't know which is more exciting - the excuse to not iron, hoover etc or my new boobs x

justifying the huge spend and looking at avi's with cc measurement and just hoping i will come out looking right..

then i jst looked on boux avenue site and the cost of the larger bras - oh my days!!!!

i guess once we have done our due diligence (and yes you can never cover all bases) but do the best you can and make sure you have followed your heart + your surgeon's recommendation .. we jst have to settle in eventually ...

When do you go in? I'm 20th December but trying to bring it forward... I think once the ops are over we can get recovery out the way and enjoy our new look xx

MissCET, yes, my surgeon told me the same when I said I would maybe go for smaller ones...so I guess I should trust him. :) I just wouldn't like to be massive after the BA. I am not that much into getting the size as I am in getting a nicer shape. My right one is slightly tubular so I just basically want to correct the shape and add a bit of volume. :)

oh cool kayla - i was going to go with Elite - Mr hassan - fantastic reviews - but it was such a hassle getting an appointment and I spoke to him also ..

its such a shame - i liked him on the phone and loved his pic too (looool) but jst getting the appt was ...

and i had a few personal reservations too - NOT with elite or mr hassan etc ..

i was so fussy/ confused / frustrated etc - it took Cookie and the other ladies stepping in a few times to get me not to have a major breakdown
