Quick upate on dizzy/sick feeling
As some may know I have been feeling dizzy/sick everytime I've stood up/ gone downstairs to do food/drink.
Thursday evening I had to ring the hospital as I couldn't put up with it any more - their advice was to monitor it, drink plenty of water, and ring them back in two days if not getting better.
Well it's not any better, got slightly worse as today walked down into stone to hairdressers and to get fresh air - felt ok walking down but when I came out of the hairdressers I felt dizzy and sick and halfway home I had to stop and sit down as felt that bad.
I have rung the hospital and they've said for me to go up so they can check blood pressure etc.

Re: Quick upate on dizzy/sick feeling
Are you still taking cocodamol hunny? As I said previously this can make a lot of women feel dizzy and sick.
Even if you're only taking it at night, it stays in your system.
Are you eating little and often too Hun? X

Mrsball may have the answer babe... That codeine is awful stuff and can make you feel pretty dreadful.
Or if its low pressure this too can give you that feeling. I have naturally low pressure so deal with that a lot hun.
Really hope all is well babe. I think you made the right decision calling for a check up... If only to get some reassurance babe

I'm not taking any painkillers and am eating little and often.
Th is just to check as been going on since discharge on tuesday - i thought it may have resolved itself but it hasn't.

C'mere babe I'm sure you'll be just fine. You're just 5 days into recovery and its very possible that going to the hairdressers was just too soon.
Get some rest rest sweetheart and plenty of fluids

Thanks cookie,
Think it may be because my sister isn't helping me at all and having to do my own food/drinks.
I do think she's jealous that I've had it done.

Re: Quick upate on dizzy/sick feeling
That's a shame Rach
You should be fine now to do things for yourself hun, but just don't overdo it hun. Take things slow and steady and I'm sure you'll be OK.
Your sister has behaved shamefully in my personal opinion hun. But if it is jealousy that's made her behave in that way... In a few months hun when you're feeling better and looking good, you'll ROCK those new boobs and she'll be the one sad at the end of this Rach... So chin up hun. You'll get the last laugh

Stress and/or anxiety can make you dizzy. But go and see a doctor that can put you mind at ease.rachij wrote:Thanks cookie,

Re: Quick upate on dizzy/sick feeling
Hey,
Been to the hospital and they've said I've got high blood pressure - down to stress ( sis not hepling me).
The advice I was given was to take 2 paracetamol every 6 hours, relax and go for a walk in the fresh air for a few days and to go back if it doesn't go.

Re: Quick upate on dizzy/sick feeling
Hopefully the blood pressure will go down now when you know what the reason is.
I'm a quite restless person and found it quite difficult to relax during my recovery. Watch movies was the best way for me to keep my mind busy and not worrying about the boobs all the time.
I hope you can feel better soon

Re: Quick upate on dizzy/sick feeling
At least you now know sweetie... The only person important in all of this YOU. I know it's not always easy to do in any situation but try and switch off a little and have some time to yourself. I know it's not my place to pass comment on your sister sweetie but don't let negativity or perhaps in her case jealousy put a downer on your recovery.
Hope you start to feel 'normal' again soon x
